Strangest source for Disney news but apparently they have redeployed the screeners watching for flashing:

Edit: apparently only at Disneyland - so everybody keep your clothes on!

I was all excited at first, as I thought this was going to be a crackdown on people taking flash pictures.

Thanks for the article. Why do people do these things!?! Surprising that people that do get offended have not pressed charges or started some crazy ruckuss yet. Who would you charge? The park, I'm sure has a limited liability. Any thoughts?

I'm pretty sure the park can't be held liable for flashers in general .. that would then set a precedent for any public gathering places. Of course, there may be a caveat here since a photo is taken though.

I remember jokingly asking a CM if they had any "Flash Mountain" pics and she read me the riot act like nobody's business. I keep it to myself now.:fork:

Actually several years ago a CM in Test Track garb struck up a conversation with us near Mouse Gears. I don't know how the subject came up but we were talking about ride pictures (maybe he was a 'watcher') and he said they block out the pictures if someone makes a rude gesture (probably they catch that MUCH more than flashers), if a celebrity is on the car (to help keep their privacy etc), or flashes - he stated that in a kinda creepy way. He told us about the Flash Mountain thing and we were just generally shocked - not that people do that but that a costumed CM was telling us this.

Prior to the creepy he told us some interesting Michael Jackson stuff about how he dresses in a burka at the parks to hide himself, and sometimes gets in after hours to ride things over and over again. He said he was working TT for him and he would get back to the load area giggling and saying "again! again!" for hours...

I have a friend who has a picture of Jackson at WDW a few years ago. He was dressed in black pants, shirt and hat. With an umbrella, and about ten body guards. They were letting him through the back entrances of rides.

I'd say that CM was pulling your leg.

Half the people on Earth have and the other half can't wait to see them, so where's the problem?

And what would you rather catch a glimpse of: a nice set being flashed on camera or some oblivious hag breast feeding her kid out in public for all to see? I've seen more uncovered an just whipped out in plain sight breast from moms at a rate of about 100 to 1. Breast feeding is a natural thing but PLEASE don't just flop them out on the table at Cosmic Rays to feed your infant! Disney should patrol that! A flash at Splash Mountain is over in1 second but I have to have this had facing me at lunch for 20 minutes!

some guys took their shirts off on SM when they came to look at their pics there was like screensaver on the screen saying the image had been washed away, when they asked about it they were told that MK has a 'nipple policy'

in 2000 i was at AK with a family with a 12 year old boy he took his shirt off and was within 5 mins was pulled over by a CM an told to put it back on or be removed.
