I already have 5 MagicBands from previous stays and a 6th one is on order for February. Received the flash drive a couple days ago for our April trip...like I need instruction on how to use MM+? :banghead:

I finally opened up my box from disney today. I love the Mickey light up flash drive - this is a free gift as I would never buy it at WDW but got it for free :) I am going to clear it (if I can) and use it as a 4th back up for my dissertation.

Has anyone outside the US received the flash drive package? I'm curious. I know they don't mail MagicBands, I assume the same applies to these.

Yep! We got ours a couple of weeks ago. I think the interior graphics were slightly different (I don't remember Edna being next to the zip drive), but we got the same components. I like the date reminder magnet, which is a nice, useful addition.

While I think the expense of such a fancy welcome package was probably unnecessary, it does look polished and seeing it helped the kids get all excited for our trip. :)

I had some Disney Lovers at My house and when they saw this they all went crazy..I had to plug it in and show them!

It is cool. Of course, my parents got one the same time as I did (they live in a different city from me). Because they aren't as computer savvy as me, they had no idea what to do with it. I had to tell my Dad it's a couple of videos in a whimsical style as only Disney could do it. So, while staying with them over the holidays, I plugged it in for them and we we watched the videos together. He got the general idea of MM+, MBs, and MDE.

My Kids went Crazy when they saw it and were so excited to pick the color of the bands!

Does everyone receive the flash drive....we have 2 reservations for the first week of March. One is a package through Disney and the other is a few nights of rented DVC points. Today I received an envelope from disney with a Booklet that has the same cover as pictured in previous post but no flash drive. It was for the DVC points reservation though so I don't know if that makes a difference????

No. It does not seem that everyone received them. I have a reservation for the end of February and I didn't get the drive just the envelope.
