Another stark transition… Teacups is right at the exit/entrance of Tomorrowland:
We’re skipping all three.@raven24 Did you go on Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, or Big Thunder. Those are totally worth seeing in Florida, they are completely different rides.
MK was not dirty last time I was there. That's really bad.
Oh ok! If you have time, highly recommend them, especially Space. We’re skipping all three.
A shirt with a quote from Disneyland’s opening speech…with MK in the background. I’m offended and insulted.

Only MK. Heading back home to California tomorrow. Are you going to do the other parks or just MK?
I noticed this. We went to Cosmic Ray’s and they had “Walt’s chili cheese dog” and “Walt’s chili cheese fries” on the menu. They totally made that up.This is sadly a very common thing in Florida.

Yeah, it's a huge shame she missed out on Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. Visiting one park doesn't do WDW justice.I don’t think one day is enough to do WDW justice.
I find DL and DCA to be better parks but I think WDW is a better overall vacation. WDW really requires several days to get the whole experience though. It takes time to enjoy the bubble, visit all the parks, explore the resort(s), spend time at the pool, use the various transportation, etc, etc, etc.
If I only have a couple days I’ll pick Land every time but if I have 4 days or more I’m going to Disney World every time.
I have noticed WDW is a bit more hit or miss on cleanliness, I think because so many of us are APs at DL we take more ownership of it.
This is sadly a very common thing in Florida.

-The items around Madame Leota are supposed to move in FL too, that may have just been a maintenance issue. My thoughts on Mansion:
This is the only ride I went on where I felt like there some genuine great things about it that make it better than the original. However, I’m going to call it a wash overall. Some of the things I preferred about MK’s version:
-The attic scene was AWESOME. Loved that part so much.
-Lighting was better
-General upkeep was great
-Although I prefer DL’s less ominous facade, MK’s is still fantastic
Some things I prefer about our version:
-Facade and queue
-The stretching room is an actual elevator. I like that I can feel myself moving. MK’s was completely still
-Hallway of portraits and moving statues are not in the actual ride. I much prefer it this way
-Hatbox Ghost
-The items around Madame Leota actually move
-One stark thing I noticed was that our version is much more quiet. There aren’t a bunch of noises going on in the background, until you get to the cemetery. This makes it easy to hear the Ghost Host. I could barely make out what he was saying on the MK version because there were so many different noises coming from everywhere
-Hitchhiking Ghosts are not goofy here. Our ghost blew a Mickey bubble and took away from the vibe. Hated it
-The Bride is not in the ride, therefore making it easier to see her and appreciate her presence in the attraction. Before I realized she was in the ride, we had already missed her in MK’s version
Despite liking more things about our Mansion, I still call it a wash. MK’s is really great.
Getting back to the parking lot was even worse when they weren't running trams back in October. Seriously enraging.Final thoughts tomorrow. I’m exhausted. Seriously, the amount of time it takes to get from the parking lot to inside the park and vice versa is insane when you’re used to DL. I don’t think I’d ever bring kids to WDW.
Got it! I’m glad that they do actually move.-The items around Madame Leota are supposed to move in FL too, that may have just been a maintenance issue.
-The louder soundscape is probably a result of the 2007 refurbishment, which did a lot with the sound work in the attraction. I had never really thought about it before, but that is actually an interesting difference between the two.
-Do you mean the placement of the bride is different, and you didn't care for that? The bride is in both versions of the ride.
Getting back to the parking lot was even worse when they weren't running trams back in October. Seriously enraging.
No way I would bring any kid younger than 9 or so to WDW. Too crowded, too hot and humid, too big, too much stress. Around 3 PM each day you can look around you and see 70% of children near you having meltdowns.
That's what WDW people say when they visit DL!The castle is not as big as I thought it would be.
