Trip Report First Trip Report and it's LIVE

The lure of SWW along with another 24 hour event at MK proved too much for me to resist. Booked rooms and flights for 5/18 through 5/27.
No kiddos this trip as couldn't miss school. My boyfriend did agree to join me on day 4 so at least I'm not all by myself! I was kind of surprised he took it so well, but I'm thinking he likes the food here and he wants to ride Soarin again

That's not terrible for Disney prices though, from what I understand.

And that looks like enough food for DH and I to share. I may have to see about working that into our trip!

OMG. I have a freaking MAGIC BAND issue. It never fails if I rent dvc points that something doesn't work right with the MB's and the door or charging. I have every color but orange and gray and only one of the yellow bands will open the door even though they are all active and linked. Been to the front desk twice over this and the computer shows they are working for the room but they won't open the door.

Great TR, sorry to hear about the band issue, I have not had the luxury of trying the new magic bands yet so I have not experienced your pains but from reading everyones comments about them that seems to be typical issue. Hopefully all of your issues are solved and soon Disney will fix the bugs for good. That plate of food from the Crew's Cup Lounge looks really good, and its only 7:45 in the morning were I'm at, thanks for sharing that with us because now I have a new place to eat on my next trip.

On my way to bus stop and he added to a FP lunch at BOG! Computer up and running and finally covered the load from Hades. A good day so far..

I love the music on the bus announcing arrival to MK. Can't believe it's already my 3rd day here and I've only made it to MK for lunch.
But wow I love my lunches!

This was the guy inside when I chose the left line. He was outside at the check in place when I departed

So about 30 minutes into my wonderful amazing turkey sandwich my euphoria with my work had done a 180 so I was trying to chew fast and couldn't post or take a bunch of pics because I had to get back to the room and computer but here is one I snapped on the way out

As I stated earlier when I left BOG the CM greeter inside had moved outside and there were several CMs standing with him. You could see the trains running at 7DMT

I mentioned I was missing the opening and they said the word was when the exit queue was finished there would be a soft opening. They all seemed to think it would be this Friday during the 24 hour event. One CM had ridden 31 times. They said it was short like 2 minutes. All agreed the mine was amazing. Anyways that's my rumor contribution on 7DMT

So the next FP was Splash not PP. I had 14 minutes before it expired. Made it in 5 minutes from Peter Pan to Splash
I have never seen Splash look so good. Amazing colors. Moving characters. Music sounded good too. Headed back to FL now via the Walt Disney Railroad !

Did I mention I've never seen MK so empty? I'm swinging into LM since it shows 10 minute wait on the app. It better be right because I'm finally into my PP FP window and I don't want to miss that.

I'm very late to this TR, but I have to say, I rode ToT once, just to say I'd done it, and I'll never get on it again. :)
