Trip Report First Trip Report and it's LIVE

The lure of SWW along with another 24 hour event at MK proved too much for me to resist. Booked rooms and flights for 5/18 through 5/27.
No kiddos this trip as couldn't miss school. My boyfriend did agree to join me on day 4 so at least I'm not all by myself! I was kind of surprised he took it so well, but I'm thinking he likes the food here and he wants to ride Soarin again

He felt better so we drove and valet parked ($20 bucks)
Wow I've really been missing out on good food. First time here to wolfgangs express and omg I'm impressed.

So as we were headed to DTD we stopped in at the Pepper Market to fill our cups and the check in line was all the way out to the foyer. I stopped and asked the bell captains standing around if it was mostly convention guests. One guy said no...700 guests checking into CSR today...and they think its all because of 7DMT opening Wednesday.
That's freaking wild.
And we ended up at the dig pool where it looks like half the resort guests are too.

When we moved resorts Friday, Jim started referring to the resorts as casinos. I haven't decided yet if it's some kind of a subtle hint or he's just conceptualizing how casino resorts and Disney resorts are highly themed.

Anyway I've just about convinced him to upgrade this ticket of his to an annual pass.

Oh and have I mentioned my boyfriend is a resort snob? He who camps where there's no running water? He who complains when Hyatt Place is over $99/night.
Yes here at WDW he's become a resort snob. He thinks CSR was built in the 70's and never been updated. So from WL to BLT to SSR and Coronado he's developed a preference. I guess he doesn't really remember CBR when we came Oct 2011 for his 60th and his daughter and her family were here too.

You realize you are the inspiration for live trip reports don't you? They are hard to do!! I can't get mine in real time like you do. By the time I get connected or remember the instant is in the past

@coachwnh (you omitted the h :eek: ) is not doing a live TR this time. You need to wait until he takes his family to DL next month ;)

After I started traveling to the airport, I wavered back and forth as to whether I would do one on this trip. I decided I wouldn't since it was only the two of us. Well lets just say I miss doing the report live!!!! My wife and I were saying as the 24 hours went by in the MK that if I had been doing the TR, we would be able to go back and see all we did that night. We did so many first time things this trip as well (Illuminations Dessert Party, La Cava After Hours, and Victoria and Alberts for dinner). I wish I would have logged it all. I may try to update some stuff as I sit at the airport tomorrow. I did take some pictures I'd like to post. I've been doing some each day in the photo section of this site. We have one more night here. Getting ready to head to MK. Have FP+ for Space Mtn, BTMRR, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (thanks to @wdwmagic for the heads up on FP+ for this today). I hope you had a great trip. It looks like you two have. I'll try not to disappoint in both DL in June and WDW in late July and early August.

Nice report of the parade from Star Wars Weekend and some Warwick Davis. Did you ever figure out who the lady was with the hair? All the food pictures is really making me HUNGRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
