Actually I'm just a fan of Disney who worked at the Magic Kingdom during high school and part of college...Now live in New York City and still enjoy reliving my time as a cast member

I love Alien Encounter so much. It's so sad that it is gone especially to how unique and original it was compared to Stitch. (Even though Alien Encounter was based off the Alien moves and for a while it was going to feature the alien from Alien).

I definitly should have attended this attraction more than once a visit. I did go on it several times in 1995, when the attraction opened, [was the lighning effect on then, because I don't remember it?]. I really enjoy the whole experience. I also had a great feeling of joy watching all the first timers being scared to death.

And you cant say "Yeah whatever" because the officials themselves said it was their fault with the clock situation. They might have had a chance if the officials wouldnt have screwed up./end drift

What goes around comes around.

It's amazing how easy people forget the 2000 game and the phantom TD by Gaffney or in 2001 where the officials screwed up two Rex Grossman incomplete passes that should have been fumbles. And for the record the officals admitted they screwed up the 2000 game for us too. The Gators had plenty of chances to win and they didn't get the job done. We played better and deserved to win. So there :lol:

Even though Alien Encounter scared the bejebus out of me and I only saw it once as a result, it was a very cool show overall. I kept meaning to buy a Skippy doll but never did. They should sell those again since he's back in Stitch's Great Escape. I remember those "Save Skippy!" shirts and buttons or whatever.

Well I jsut had to put my 2 cents in...reliable source or not those pictures were not taken jsut a few days ago...for the fact of a matter we did have publicity screening and photos were taken...I can tellyou more than likely the XS logo is gone now. Also Skippy has spots...yes he lookes like a mutated giraffe...*sighs* why...

I am also up set at the bad quality of the shots. What ever CM took them should be ashamed for sharing them. But thats jsut my opinion. Im most certian that with the show lights it will look spectacular. How ever the show is a little campy..its not alien adn i have learned to live wiht that but it shoud be good times for all again

Or does it look like Skippy lost a few legs? Skippy used to have 6 legs just like Stitch from that pic it looks like he is down to 4???? And nothing against X-S babe, who has given us nothing but great details on SGE, but why would they put spots on Skippy when I am sure they still have a ton of plush some place? But hey I will wait till someone sneaks in a video camera to pass judgement.

Going the first week in October and was "hopeing" for some sneak previews like we had for Space. Anyone know if this may happen? I saw that passholders have a preview first week in Nov for 3 days, but sometimes they have cast member tests and etc. a little earlier-----

What do you think? Any chance? Hummmmmmm?

I think they just took the smaller thumbnails and blew them up, which would explain the blurriness and the lack of overall quality of the screamscape photos. I was tempted to e-mail him and let him know where the photos came from. He usually just references the page here at wdwmagic. I doubt that he posted the pictures knowing they were taken from this site. If you are really upset about it, email him: newseditor@screamscape.com, I'm sure he'd change it for you.
