Finally got a discount

I have been reading on this board about PINS and was wondering how or when I would get one. Well this morning I finally got one emailed to me. Called the travel agent and she applied it and it saved us almost $1300.00. So now I am glad we booked the POLY. For $200.00 more we are staying there (POLY) than the original place POP.:sohappy: Now just hoping the job situation holds out for myself and the wife.:veryconfu

Me neither - and I go all the time for the last 10 years! Of course, as of last year, I'm a DVC owner so it's not as disappointing not getting them now.

I got one from the "Disney Destinations" email 2 weeks ago it was 40% off value season room bookings at "select" value resorts. I booked POP for 5 nights/6 day MYW park hopper plus dining for November 29-December 4. Came to $771. Saved like $200 bucks.

I know the feeling, I've never received one either. However, the AP discounts are normally nice. :D

Good for you. That's a nice deal to go from Pop to Poly for a small cost.

We were able to get from 582/night at BoardWalk Club Level down to 224/night Club. That thrilled me, literally. LOL.

Good for you. I use to get them often...haven't seen one in years...I thought they stopped. I'll have to look at the web site given and see what happens...thanks:)

I recently ordered the Vacation Planning DVD and also went & priced out some vacations at the site. I was logged in at the time and saved my searches. I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but a few weeks later, I got a 40% off pin code.

My brother and I will be going to POFQ at the end of September for 7 days & 6 nights for just over $1000 including tickets w/park hopping.

You may want to look at prices around the end of April and rebook if they offer the free dining promotion. You will probably pay the same amount but you will at least get your meals paid for.

I recently checked my email and also received the 40% off discount pin. Thank you Disney my DH and I will be able to go home this year. We were looking forward to booking AKL for the end of Nov thru the first week of Dec. Unfortunately I rechecked this morning and noticed that it was only for select Value resorts. Don't get me wrong we still go because I guess it doesn't really matter where we stay, we were just looking forward to finally staying at AKL for the whole visit.
My question is this though...has anyone else been able to upgrade from the value to deluxe? It may be a long shot but it never hurts to ask, right?

If you read the fine print, the email should say to ask about rates at the mods and deluxes, too. We booked Wilderness Lodge with our pin code, so it is definitely good at the deluxes. :wave:

CONGRATS! I hope i find a better deal for my trip in october. i am staying 10 days/nights at all star music and right now the total is $1680.11 ... which is about $500 more than i paid last year :(
