Wow, that brought so many emotions and memories back for me...

Watching Illuminations and the holiday tag on Christmas Eve 2001. The park was a ghost town, and the message of Illuminations and especially “Let There Be Peace on Earth” resonated so deeply just a few months after 9/11 that 21-year old me was sobbing (along with so many others).

My wedding night in July 2014. Our “reception” was a private dessert party for all 20 of us in the UK seating area. Our Disney photographer kept telling my husband and I to kiss so he could get the “perfect” shot of us with fireworks, so we missed the entire show (we have a ton of random pictures though, lol). Even though it rained and we were all soaked in our ponchos, it was a perfect night, and we all had a blast.

Thank you, Epcot and thank you, Illuminations: Reflections of Earth. You had a wonderful run and I’m sad to see you go

I remember seeing Illuminations for the first time on my Honeymoon. It had stormed that night, the rain stopped before the show but we could still see the lighting in the distance all through the show. Really added something extra.

Not really.

I thought it was the DHS ones too but it was actually Happily Ever After from Magic Kingdom. DHS fireworks don't start for another 30 minutes.

And it held with no issues. I’d never used them for streaming before but they have a new fan, not the least of which because they chose not to talk during the show. Respect cause they were (rightfully) excited about their numbers.
