EPCOT Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

Everybody loved test track 3.0, and NONE of that was up to anyone’s predictions! I think the imagination 4.0 we all want is something we don’t even KNOW we want.
And with how imagineering is as of late, and with test track, i trust imagineering to bring us a good NEW dreamfinder and figment adventure.
There’s a lot to say here about GM paying for Test Track and it being what most of us wanted, etc. but I think a big point to make is that even a great Test Track is still a pretty bare bones thrill ride in comparison to the artistry that went into every scene of World of Motion. The Future World greats of yore aren’t easily matched and I honestly respect GM/WDI for not trying to with Test Track. A diet original Imagination is still what I’m expecting and what I believe 99% of us would be satisfied with given what we’re coming from.

Figment should be gutted and turned into a Mystic Manor-type trackless ride with Dreamfinder and Figment. All of this seems like such easy thinking to make that quote make sense for everyone.
Unless they're gonna do a recreation of the first ride's Dreammobile scene (instead of a turntable, they could just have the vehicles park in front of the blimp), I'd rather we not get any more trackless dark rides.

I agree. most of Disney's recent dark rides have been trackless. In the past 5-6 years, we got ROTR, MMRR, and ratatouille for dark rides excluding reskins. If they were to go ahead with a new concept I would like to a new system to offer more variety. Or if they really want to do a trackless system, do something with it in a way that separates it from ratatouille.

I would highly disagree...Inside -Out is not necessary for the Imagination Pavilion to work again... It is not even necessary for it to be part of it whatsoever. They need to go back to the original idea and pavilion...get rid of the Imagination Institute...bring back Dreamfinder. Put a new Figment related show in the theater (check out the dragon show at Epic). Then perhaps add a couple beautifully designed flat rides around the outside of the pavilion and create a "Garden Of Imagination" area... Something beautiful, colorful and whimsical... Redress it all with a fantastic kinetic Steampunk aesthetic...A new show, the completely new Figment dark ride, 2-3 flat or similar small rides...It would be the Fantasyland of Epcot but in a best possible way.
I said Wonders of Life, not Imagination!

WDI has also demonstrated they’re incapable of placemaking within the existing spatial dimensions of an existing Tony Baxter attraction footprint.
To be fair , The Disneyland incarnation of Tiana's does actually work better than Florida's. Due to the fact that Disneyland has always had the most compact version of Splash. I am pretty sure they were planning TBA for Disneyland and not WDW until the George Floyd Riots forced their hand and it was forced to be adapted for Florida as well. Florida's Splash has always been bigger and more elaborate. WDI failed to take that into account for the Florida version thus why the Florida version has so much dead space.

Oh. You're still posting in this thread.

Without answering the question about how you seem to know that the $60B (only $17B for WDW) includes an Imagination re-do.

Do you really have this info from someone at WDW who knows, or, are you just farming aura?
I've just heard them on and on "confirming" random things and then disappearing when asking for any proof so I would take what they say with... about as much salt as is in the ocean or the tears as he says the EU is the best park in the universe and has no issues because it is perfect.

So far they know:

1. Figment ride refurb
2. Villians land info
3. Harry Hausen's Menu??

Unless they are the peak of imagineering who sees concepts for every park, I doubt they know what they're talking about.

Honestly imo, Tiana's is a relatively easy "fix" if you want to call it that. Add some more very simple animal characters dancing around and the "Shadow Man" up the lift hill and it's perfect for me.

To be frank, The problem with Tiana's is the obvious fact that it was force-designed to fit into Splash Mountain. Tiana really deserved her own ride. Another problem is I am really not sure if WDI knows who it is designing for. The fact that a major Disney Princess which is supposed to appeal to young girls was forced into a log flume with a height restriction that most little girls can't ride. The writing and story of the attraction seems to be pre-school level dialog and sensibility and it's supposed to be thrilling enough for older guests. I personally think TBA might be worse than Stitches Great Escape in the sense that they really don't seem to know what audience it is aiming for.

I mean I loved Tiana's (yes in MK) so I don't think it's something that really has that many problems. Also iirc the average age it takes to be 40 inches tall for girls would be about 4 which I think still hits a good chunk of kids. I definitely think it suffers from some problems with being placed in an existing attraction but I also 100% understand why they did it. But this isn't a thread on Tiana's so I won't go too far into it. I just want it to be the best ride it can be which IMO it's very close to it with some improved reliability + a few animatronics + projection effects. Luckily something like this would be easy to implement with the screens/projectors could slowly be showing the shadow man following you along on your journey and just some new Mama Odie lines about getting you out of there and defeating the Shadow man. A new "Battle" scene could be done almost entirely with projections + sounds + using the existing animatronic.

4. When Space Mountain will be refurbed.

I've seen this song and dance before. I'm not letting it skate by.
