within the same park or not necessarily?, I have a feeling of what the trade off might be.I feel like Imagination 4 is gonna be coupled with another beloved attraction going away.

I hope that when Dave steps down, it’ll be on his terms. I especially hope that he’s already working with someone to take on some of his characters. I don’t want another Matt Vogel Kermit situation where he was just thrust into the deep end (and the internet won’t let you forget it).I still wouldn't put it past Disney to fire Dave because they think he's "gotten too old" to do Gonzo's voice like they did to Paige O'Hara and Phil Harris.
"Oh, no! We didn't produce enough laughs to power this elevator! We're going down!"They’re replacing tower of terror with another monstropolis land out of spite.
Yeah, I think they should let Dave train somebody to take over as Gonzo, Bunsen, etc. like how Jerry Nelson trained Matt Vogel to take over as his characters. Though hopefully Dave will stick around a while longer.I especially hope that he’s already working with someone to take on some of his characters.
Are there any replacements rumored right now? The only one I can think of is HOP.I feel like Imagination 4 is gonna be coupled with another beloved attraction going away.
You. You are going to be replaced with IP.Are there any replacements rumored right now? The only one I can think of is HOP.
I've been hearing whispers about one, but the park it'd be at has enough stuff being worked on to where it wouldn't close til that stuff opens. Are there any replacements rumored right now? The only one I can think of is HOP.
I'm guessing a Jungle Book overlay to KaliI've been hearing whispers about one, but the park it'd be at has enough stuff being worked on to where it wouldn't close til that stuff opens.
I think I have a good idea what park that could be, guess wise.I've been hearing whispers about one, but the park it'd be at has enough stuff being worked on to where it wouldn't close til that stuff opens.
Is it finally time?I think I have a good idea what park that could be, guess wise.
The only wonder is WHAT they’d go for, because there are many candidates.
I don’t know. Maybe?Is it finally time?

So that rules out EPCOTI've been hearing whispers about one, but the park it'd be at has enough stuff being worked on to where it wouldn't close til that stuff opens.
100% this. Remember when we thought they were announcing a figment redo, and they just announced the meetable character?!?Calling it now:
In August D’Amaro is going to stand on the stage and talk about what a success the new Test Track overhaul is. Then he’ll talk about other fan favorites in EPCOT that the company is looking to bring up to date. The picture on the screen behind him will switch to a picture of the Imagination pavilion. Fans will collectively take a huge breath before D’Amaro bursts their bubble by saying “the Magic Eye Theater will be home to a brand new show starring the characters from PIXAR’s hit Inside Out franchise.”
Meanwhile half the audiance will be staring at him like -Calling it now:

My biggest fear has always been the inverse. Inside Out gets the attraction while Disney throws fans a bone with a Figment show in Magic Eye. Glad that’s not what insiders believe is happeningI don’t mind inside out in magic eye, and i think it’s the winning move if you wanna do a fan service figment redo.
Not everyone is gonna get who figment and his beardo friend are, so inside out is a good “hook” to draw people in, and then they ride the new figment while they are there. Also gets inside out in the pavilion in some form, pleasing execs and getting that IP mandate in.
I believe the dreamfinder, figment, and inside out can all exist in harmony.
Taking both JII and the theater out of commission will barely be felt by park goers. Last month JII was 5 minutes and/or walk on, on 3 separate days visiting epcot, and there were about 10 people watching the shorts collection at the theater. Of course, it'll be made into a big deal by vloggers who will bemoan Figment being updated...My biggest fear has always been the inverse. Give it free with the popcorn bucket next yearGreat. Now we’re going to see scented candles called Figment’s 40 YO Sweaty Balls
If they aren't gonna replace it with a good Figment ride, just replace it with a good ride.Wait so, lemmie get this straight. For years and years people say: “bring figment back, make his ride good again, to make him only a mascot while inside out takes the pavilion would be a crime!”
Only to switch up and say: “Yknow, figments ride is bad, we should only make him a mascot and give his ride to someone else. Would be for the best”
What do you all even actually want?
You could really turn all of WOL into an Inside Out "Mind" pavillionNow that armchair imagineering is just real (door coaster, Villains Land, change Dino to Indy, put Dr Teeth and the Electric Mayhem in RNRR), I feel like Inside Out in the Cranium Command theater is more likely than Imagination 4.0 being Inside Out featuring Figment.
