Imagination 4 is a "In case everybody is ed off at us, break glass" move. I think that criteria has been reached.

I still wouldn't put it past Disney to fire Dave because they think he's "gotten too old" to do Gonzo's voice like they did to Paige O'Hara and Phil Harris.
His Gonzo is still decent but Waldorf is definetly past him. I don't think we've heard him do anything with Bunsen in a while, though.

I hope that when Dave steps down, it’ll be on his terms. I especially hope that he’s already working with someone to take on some of his characters. I don’t want another Matt Vogel Kermit situation where he was just thrust into the deep end (and the internet won’t let you forget it).

Yeah, I think they should let Dave train somebody to take over as Gonzo, Bunsen, etc. like how Jerry Nelson trained Matt Vogel to take over as his characters. Though hopefully Dave will stick around a while longer.
It's worth noting that Bill Baretta did Bunsen in the first episode of Muppets Tonight and it sounded really good, so he could always take over for Dave as that character.

I can see them teasing it with a stock picture of Dreamfinder and Figment this year, and that’s about all I can see.

I think I have a good idea what park that could be, guess wise.
The only wonder is WHAT they’d go for, because there are many candidates.
