I know. When they actually used him properly and knew how valuable he was instead of just a merchandise-moving piece of IP. Of course, you didn't need to draw people into Centorium, unlike the current operating room-themed gift shop.

Eh, I think the murals should be classic EPCOT murals, not murals of Figment. EPCOT has really inspiring art without needing to resort to a character. They could replace the "Mouse as Muse" sculptures with "Pigment on Figment" sculptures or something, though.

Put a version of the Prologue and the Promise in there. Such a great piece of art.

But beyond the art, the elements are perfect. The SSE tile floors. The yellow entrance bays. The fonts. Tapestry of Nations on the music loop. The cool white lighting with the floor to cieling windows. All perfection. The muckeys just mess it up. I will say, all of this seems to be made to be easily changed. Also like they know they're building something that can easily be retrofitted into something perfect.

It is. Why desecrate it by putting into a crappy merchandise shop?

I'd just be happy to see it somewhere in EPCOT again.
I’d rather it stay out of whatever this mess of a park is.

You would think they would see the 6 hour lines for a popcorn bucket and say to themselves, “hey, imagine how much more merchandise we could sell if we built this guy a new ride!”

Nah, skip the ride and go straight for selling the merch. Make it all available at one spot and offer a LL+ to enter. Why build stuff when people will line up for just about anything?

It's a real double-edged sword. The merch selling so well with the current attraction in place tells Disney, "People clearly still love Figment, therefore what we have is fine!". And if the merch wasn't selling well, it tells Disney, "hmmm maybe people are over Figment. Might be time to rethink that pavilion."

Because people will buy more if there is an amazing new ride. Look at Pandora and the bird things. If they built a kick posterior JII, they could put a kick posterior shop at the end and make astronomical profits!

There's one thing that the Figment bucket fiasco has shown me. PEOPLE ARE FRICKING CRAZY.
I hate the ride, but if other people like it than they should make a better version of it. So all of us can enjoy it. It would be a cool t-shirt opportunity as well "Make Figment Great again", like the version people did with The Great Movie Ride.

I promise you, nobody was waiting on a 4 hour line to get the Figment Popcorn Bucket because they love the current version of the ride.

I do agree with that!
But, look how D was swayed to keep the GMR due to all the back lash... You yeah, they weren't. I think we're all stuck with the Figment we got, not the Figment we want (except for Popcorn buckets and merch) for a long time. But, hey, we can visit the Creative Cafe and drown our misery in some Figment nuggets.

Yeah, I don't like the newest version. I never rode the old version of it, but this newest version feels cheap and uneventful.
