Absolutely. At DHS, in particular, the lack of live entertainment is problematic (still just Frozen?) and they have two, large, outdoor, covered amphitheaters that could easily host shows during Covid. There’s not much excuse with FotLK returning but I understand there is movement on this front.
I recall them having a "best of disney" concert style show early on in the reopen at the BatB theater. I quite liked it, not sure why they decided to stop that as crowds got even higher.

Exactly so. I think both DHS and EPCOT need a boost of live entertainment right now, but I agree DHS Is set up with the locations better for social distancing and to absorb larger crowds. I am glad to hear that there is movement on this. The entertainment is what I miss most!! Marie

Their failure to do this in the BatB theater is mind-boggling. Low cost but a significant capacity increase. However, their shows are funniest when they are interactive, which is currently a no-no. That’s a bit of an issue for Indy, too. But nothing insurmountable. I’m sure The Zach has at least 8 ideas.
They could probably do something where you can text info to a number and when the time is right use that info throughout the show. Kind of like improv games where you write info down and it’s pulled out at random times.

The Citizens of Hollywood / Main Street, Main Street piano players Jim & Mark, Yeehaw Bob, and the Orchestra were simply inexcusable budget cuts.

Worry about vaccine slowing if we have availability like this over the weekend. If the weekend shots are full it’s a sign that we aren’t scheduling for the needs of the workers who want the vaccine. We need to focus efforts at mass vaccination sites on weekends. During the week, public health should be organizing employer drives starting at the largest employers first.

Most of the issues with any of the stage shows are with the cast and where to host them when NOT doing the show. The offstage staging rooms are very small and very close quarters. With social distancing, they simply can't (won't?) have that many cast members in any show in such close quarters at this time. Once the social distancing rules are relaxed, we might start to see bigger casts start to take to the stages.
