But if you ride Dumbo (where it used to be located) to grab some demolition/construction shots...

I recall the shots posted on these forums that were being posted from Dumbo's vantage point. They were better than any "monopole" shot.

Yes - they don't try to block you from taking photos from any normal guest perspective... including on a ride.. they can and have... blocked people from... uhh.. extending the normal guest perspective :)

Does this mean that personal drones are not allowed in the parks? I didn't notice them on the "prohibited items" list... o_O

Try it and let us know :)

I'm not defending Disney's actions.. just laying out what I've seen them do over the internet years of people documenting park construction.

Actually, all that was said is "next phase of the project is delayed. This will also delay the start of the Avatar Land project even more...."

Not a whole lot of details

Yeah, that's it. It was just an update on the fact that there's one more thing slowing down this project. The real nature of this delay is unknown at this point.

Well, we know that now there's yet ANOTHER delay.

Was there any previous delays? From the start, the plans were to start construction in 2013, which I think was probably on track until this news. My impression is that the new theater would be done before the end of the year, allowing for the clearing of the CMM site and construction to begin in earnest for Pandora.

Anyway, they said it was a "minor roadblock" and that it sounds like will just be delaying things, not derailing them. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.
