Festival of Fantasy Parade coming to Magic Kingdom in 2014

Overall a good parade but I'm not ready to declare it a home run quite yet. The music (though hard to hear) was definitely not as majestic as Spectro or Tapestry, nor as catchy as Boo to You or Once Upon a Christmastime. The dragon float was certainly impressive, and the decision to add Anna and Elsa (and Olaf!) was a really good call. I look forward to seeing it in person in four weeks.

Please return Smee in a boat prior to Tick. Tock the alligator. Similar to the night parade unit. It would definitely add to the fun.

But if he's in the boat already during the nighttime parade, why should he be during the day? And you said "return" meaning that he was already in a boat, but this is a new parade that just stepped off less than an hour and a half ago? o_O

Why did the leave out Winnie the Pooh and Small World? I was hoping they would make it in the parade. Bring this float over from Jubilation!

It's always interesting to me how people people can feel so differently about the same thing. I found Festival of Fantasy to have incredibly catchy music, and I'm not really a big fan of the Once Upon a Christmastime music. My main critique is that the parade seems a little short, but they pack in so much into those 15 minutes that I can let it slide.

Also, there's already a video on Youtube of kid who was scared of the Maleficent float. I swear, if this becomes big enough of a problem that the float is cut, I might just hate children forever.

What are you talking about I love the Christmas parade music!! :p I thought the floats seemed really really close together. And I'm still laughing about your hating-children-forever comment :hilarious:

I don't think Pooh was gonna be in it due to the fact u can see the parade from crystal palace. It would be an odd conversation why u can see pooh and friends at two different places at once.
Oh. And the Tigger setup from Jubilation would require equity pay

The parade is only a short period of time.....let Kangaroo and Owl stay behind and the rest can be in the parade...lol
