While there are some design similarities, this is an entirely new parade. HKDL is hanging on to Flights of Fantasy.

Any word on whether this is a Steve Davison production? He's been hinting at some new entertainment offerings for a while now.

This is exciting news! The parades are a cornerstone of MK and it's awesome that MK is getting a new parade!

I'd bet on it not showing up at all. This will be WDW's first parade designed from the ground up by Creative Entertainment (Steve Davison's team), so I would be quite surprised to see any old floats included. Think more along the lines of Happiness Is Here/Soundsational/Flights of Fantasy.

But if that damn castle float shows up in the mix, I will probably just throw my hands up and get on the monorail to Epcot. I can't take that thing anymore.

The float design concept art looks really good. A nice fresh concept to bring to MK. But we all know they'll find a way to include that last castle float that's been around since the 25th anniversary. But finally a new parade!

Even if it's not in THIS parade you know they're going to keep it for the Christmas parade. I'm surprised they haven't found a way to shoehorn it in to the Halloween parade yet.

any word on if this parade will be both a daytime AND nighttime (lit) parade or are we going to run MSEP until it dies
