Thank God. Hopefully, if the guest response to Festival of Fantasy is universal acclaim, TDO will fast track a green light for this project. As much as I love Wishes, both the parade and fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom have desperately needed replacing.
What if I don't like it? Just because it's new doesn't mean I need to love it. I think I will really like this parade, but it doesn't make me an 'untrue' fan if I don't.

OK. So apparently the MK is getting a dragon float that will knock our socks off. This, of course, is great news but wouldn't it be cool if it operated like this T-Rex in the "Walking with Dinosaurs" live show a few years ago? I know that the odds of this happening are unbelievably slim, but this thing would be like Lucky the Dino on steroids.

I'll agree that it is getting old. But it has always been a more fun high energy show than the 3pm parade.

Sounds like FOF is being designed with more kinetic elements ala Play Parade-I'm hoping it lives up to the hype

The one kinetic element I'm concerned about is the swinging ship on the Peter Pan float. Will it still be included, or has it been cut due to lack of feasibility?
In just 2 months, FOF will have the chance to shine. But back to wishes, has there been any new rumors? Will it just be Pyro? Or will we get ideas form WOC, WOC: WD, Dreams, Dreams of Christmas?

The thing is, so many of the parks' entertainment offerings have been cut down/neglected over the years to the point that they all need attention at once. Who knows, maybe the 45th anniversary will bring a few surprises.

Well I think its a given that the new show will be a mix of Celebrate The Magic and Fireworks. The question is will it include fountains, etc?
Going back to what was cut from the parade, it bothers me to but I guess its probably best we Don't know what was cut LOL. It is what it is anyhow. Although I have to say I would be soo upset if there was going to be a Frozen float and it got cut!! That would have been so amazing! :-(
Nobody has yet to comment but what will the 4 secondary floats be? Are we talking something like the horses or lady bugs from Happiness Is Here? or larger floats?

Saw the show in real life. Came to my hometown. The Ornithocheirus animatronic was just as impressive IMO.

will be lucky if the 50th sees anything new like that, they prob wont even aknowledge the 45th, they barely did the 40th. I hope before then theres some type of better management or ceo in place, but not holding breath.

Looks like the dragon's tail to me. It's a shame TDO ignores anniversaries. It's a disservice to the fans and a disservice to the history of the parks.

Btw is this still true? The girls combo is pretty wild and fast, almost like Bollywood! That would be fun to see in the parade with a fast upbeat soundtrack! or it would have made a cool show stop IF there would have been one.
Anyway, we have not heard anything about the performers, choreography and costumes yet!
