Festival of Fantasy Parade coming to Magic Kingdom in 2014

Steven has said quite a few times that the mirror castle float is not appearing in this parade...at all.
He seemed quite adamant about that. It would completely ruin the artistic integrity of this production.

Just watched a Video on Youtube and saw that Merryweather was not Their. Flora and Fauna were but Merryweather was not in the Parade at all! It was a Bit Windy so could that be it? I thought that at First but then why would the Other Two Fairies be Out? Any other Possibilites?

She might have been in the parade earlier in the route, but had to leave for whatever reason. Sometimes performers will note to the side cast members that walk along the route next to the floats that they need to leave, and will be escorted off the route, for a number of reasons. I've seen it before, it's nothing out of the ordinary.

I believe Aurora was supposed to be featured where Anna and Elsa are. She was going to be with the owl dressed as Prince Philip, hence the reason "Once Upon a Dream" is played with the opening.

While Aurora gets no love, the sleeping beauty franchise definitely does

Bring this one for Winnie the Pooh. He deserves the same recognition for the New Fantasyland, as well. Don't ignore the fact that he is part of the expansion.

I thought it was generally agreed on here that FOF representing New Fantasyland is just a marketing ploy, put together because the two projects have similar elements and had relatively close opening dates. Either way, you can't incorporate every Disney property into a parade, some things just have to be cut/left out. If anything Frozen, by virtue of it's mass hysteria popularity, has the strongest chance at receiving a float. But of course, it's highly doubtful considering it's already represented, and the parade has well established itself as a must-see as is. At this point, I'm just waiting to see if that Queen Elinor rumor verifies. The Brave unit could really use her.

Two of the units came from Hong Kong Disneyland. They have been refurbished, but I can't say that the Magic Kingdom has an original parade. Yes, it would be great to add these few addition. It would only make the parade stronger.

Actually the Princess Garden Float and Pinocchio/Dumbo floats came from Tokyo Disneyland not Hong Kong Disneyland.

I agree however, I feel like they wouldn't think about adding a Frozen unit without taking away another unit. Call me cynical, I just have a hard time seeing entertainment getting the proper money and funds to add a float/unit to this already expensive parade.

Also I'm all for additions to the parade but I just have a hard time seeing how Queen Elinor would be worked into the parade. I don't think there's space for her on the float and I just don't know how she'd look walking along the street with the dancers.

Im beginning to think these rumors of changes and scheduling are false and FOF is staying exactly the way it is, or at least for a very long time.

Does anyone else think that if they were to remove a float, they should remove the Merida/Bagpipe one and replace it with Frozen? The Bagpipe float is quite lacking, and the only character in the sequence is Merida.
