Where is your favorite "quiet" spot in WDW? One of mine is on the beach in front of the Tahiti building at the Polynesian.(and Aunt Polly's if you consider that quiet)

I think mine is at the end of the dock at the poly. Right afer the fireworks. That is one of the best places to watch anyway. Anyone notice they dont have the torches lit anymore, or they have been removed?

We like the "hidden" path in AK. You can forget all of the crowds outside.(unless a lot of people have discovered it by now)

In the Magic Kingdom:
It may not be the quietest place, but we like to rest under the portal to the Pirates of the Carribean. There are some benches on the left where you can enjoy a few moments of peace and you can actually get a few winks  as long as some kid doesn't decide to test his vocal chords near your ear.

The WEDWAY is also a favorite spot where u can actually kill two birds with one stone....sit, relax and cool down....and be on a ride too! We stayed on the WEDWAY nearly an hour last year just taking in all the sounds and sights of Tomorrowland..... :)

(I will ALWAYS call it the WEDWAY)

I like the garden area in the United Kingdom. As long as there isn't any entertainment happening, it's very peaceful back there. A nice place to sit back and relax with lots of shade and quiet.

You got it Seano!! On that little quiet stretch of beach between the Poly and the Luau Cove. My wife and I must of spent about 2 to 3 hours a day on those hammocks. The only time it's not quiet is when they have cars going at the race track.

Last time down (July 2000) they still had the torches lit. I hope they haven't changed that. That was one of the best touches about the Poly at night along with the tropical music playing in the background.

Does anyone else know about this? That would be one of the worst moves Disney has done to a hotel.I hope they were only off for re-hab :(

One of my favorite quiet places is at the AK back behind the Flaming Barbaque resturant down the path when you can go and eat, and if u walk all the way down you get to a pavilion where there is noramlly no one there and if you get there at the right time you can listen to the Tarzan show going on and eat your lunch right by the little lake, lagoon or river (whatever you want to call it).

I like the pathway between Mickey's birthdayland and Tomarrowland. Also our patio at the Polynesian was on the pathway near luau cove and the hammocks and swings. The beach there is secluded and so quiet.

I love Epcot. I have found that the courtyard in Italy is a nice place to relax. I spent a couple of hours there yesterday. The music and scenery are beautiful, and there are many different performances there throughout the day. I may be biased..... I have some friends that perform in Masquerade.;) I love the costumes!!!
