Favorite Holiday Film

Considering the Holiday season is starting so soon, I wanted to ask what are your favorite Disney films to watch around this time of year. I'd have to put The Muppet Christmas Carol at the top of my list!

My wife's favorite Christmas movie is the Muppet Christmas Carol! I gotta admit that it's a hoot! My favorite is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, and also Planes Trains and Automobiles is pretty close too.

After reading this thread I realize just how many Christmas moovies I haven't seen. Its a wonderful Life? Does that still come on t v? I am now interested in waching that and A Christmas Storry. Thanks everyone. And my 4 favorit Christmas moovies are 1. Mickeys Once and Twice Upon A Christmas, Mickeys Christmas Carol and a Muppet Christmas Carol.

It's a Wonderful Life usually comes on NBC at least once during the season, but it is also available on DVD... in some cities plays at a movie theatre. (Here in Richmond, they show it at the Byrd Theatre, our old "movie palace" -- the type with a pipe organ and chandelier -- every Christmas Eve and Day.)

Well worth seeing. It starts off very slow and is a little long by today's standards, but is very worth it.

Wow, makes me feel I'm kinda out there. I started with reading the girls A Wish For Wings That Work every Christmas Eve. We migrated to the TV in the mid-90's and then the only VHS tape I've ever seen of it (which is starting to fail). Thankfully, my DW just bought us a new DVD this week!

And all 3 of my college-aged girls will sit with us this 24th to watch that one show. That makes Christmas for us.
