That isn’t even close to being true. All of the Transformers rides follow the site constraints of Universal Studios Hollywood.
Okay, I stand corrected, but still there are too many motion simulators at Universal Parks, Hollywood, I understand why, but there is little excuse for the Florida park to have as many simulators, especially when NBCU just bought 426 acres of land close to the current Universal Orlando property

Maybe once Shrek finally closes it could be a turning point for Universal and its attractions. Especially after the plan for Secrets life of pets is supposed to be a trackless ride.

Transformers and Spider Man have the exact same ride track

Actually they don't... at all. But if this is a problem for you, make sure you skip Indiana Jones if you ever head west. It totally sucks and stuff because its layout is the same as Dinosaur's. [/s]

Land has nothing to do with it. You're making it sound like Universal built a bunch of traditional simulators in tiny buildings, when in fact they have some of the largest indoor attractions ever built.

In the next 4 years WDW will overhaul 8 rides/attractions and add 8 more rides/attractions. Depending how you define 'new', one could say WDW is on track to add 16 attractions in 4 years... a pace on par with 30+ in 10 years.

Media conglomerates... start your engines!!
Are we sure that some of those overhauls (stitch, imagination, dino) are going to be in the next 4 years? Still a significant number though.
Anyway as for this project I'm not really sold on this ride system. I thought it was just ok for kong but doesn't really work with F&F at all imo.

We went to IOA/USF in September. Literally screens in every ride. So many that it took away from rides like Potter where screens are used well. We had a group of 7 and all hated Kong the most. So bummed to see how similar this is to everything else. Im hoping the new potter stuff shakes it up.

I wasn't even counting Dino or Imagination!

8 overhauls: Stitch, Speedway, UoE, Circle of Life, Gran Fiesta, TGMR, and at least two of these three: Mermaid, BatB, Indy.

8 new: TRON Cycle, MK Theater, UK, Rat, Slinky Dog Dash, ASwS, Falcon, Battle Escape

There's a good handful more rumored, but they're not as confirmed or they're 5-6 years out, which include Dino, Imagination, Tiki Room, something at the Seas, some sort of upgrade to Living with the Land, a mysterious thing happening north of Kali, a new show replacing Flights of Wonder, and a Pandora addition. And a new night parade at MK, and a new day parade, and a new or upgraded fireworks at MK, and the Illuminations overhaul, and a final disposition of Star Tours and Launch Bay, and the movie upgrades in the World Showcase pavilions, and a new Epcot spine and Innoventions overhaul (whatever that turns out to be).

Personally, if Universal really wants to seriously compete with Disney, they need more rides that have that "wow" factor, the last few new attractions at Universal Orlando's two parks (with the exceptions of Gringotts, Forbidden Journey, Spiderman's update and the Incredible Hulk's update) haven't really done anything for me in that department.

Those are all super logical to me. So exciting. Hopefully some Zelda, too!
I do believe Zelda is included in the NintendoLand plans, and LOTR should go in the former area known as the Lost Continent, as quite frankly Universal is not doing anything with it

The Island of Berk would be a nice fit for Lost Continent.

Or maybe Christmas Island with Mr. Crumpit Bobsleds on the Seuss side, a Rudolph dark ride, and a Frosty the Snowman hosted Musical Revue show.
