Interesting that they've removed the little crane they had on site. Must be done with the heavy lifting. Also, looks like lots of holes dug and ready for trees.

I think that they needed the space where the crane stood, they are creaping more and nearer to the mountain with the ground work and the pathways

Dude, this ride looks awesome gnarly intense to the maximum degree, we went down the first five foot drop and was like "brraaahhhhhhh" and went around the curve and was "whoooaaaaa". The g's were so intense my ed hardy tank top almost ripped right off.

I find it hard that anyone can read the pessimism on these boards about this ride and have too high of expectations. I actually think that many folks here are going to be pleasantly surprised by the 7DMT because of how much it has been slammed that expectations have been markedly tempered.

You clearly have a good understanding of what makes a great ride. Go back to Six Flags.

I'm far more concerned about the amount of quality of the show scenes and general theming of the ride than I am about any intensity. The ride obviously is not going to be a significantly intense thrill ride and that's fine, but given the size, it should have quality indoor scenes to entertain and engage the riders. I'm actually a little surprised that we haven't seem leaks about what the far ride portions will contain -- I think the only real insight on specific scenes has been official "ride through" videos provided by Disney.

We'll see how the finished product is.
