Woah, where are they getting this?! Very random information, though it would be awesome. I hate the fact that IASW is braced up in that FL East Coridor and without the facade that DL has.

...though I seriously doubt this, I would love for it to happen.

*is wondering if I really read this thread.*

Sounds like complete fiction to me. The expansion has been specifically designed so that the existing FL can remain as is behind the castle wall. IASW also just had it's exterior completely refurbed.

This does sound like wishful thinking or armchair Imagineering. However, there is so much land behind the IASW building it would be great if they did this. But I think that may be awhile unless the building itself has structural issues.

Everyone thinks it would be great for Disney to spend millions of dollars to move an attraction just to put a bigger facade? :brick:

Maybe I misread the article, but it seemed like there was more to it than that...
I think it is not just a facade, Disneyland's boats are loaded outside right. Perhaps this is the change they speak of. The Ride will now be loaded outside.

ya id there is ant truth to this. it sound just moving the loading area at allow more open area in front of iasm and pp. the extra space would allow the removal of the skyway staion and the installation of a very small attration on top. but i think that this must only be the result of a blue sky session

I would LOVE to see it moved and given the same treatment as DL version. The WDW version of IASW always seemed generic and came across as an after thought the way it was placed in Fantasyland. There was nothing special about it, now maybe there will be!

Trust me the facade it the only major difference between the two, oh yea in DL they hung a few Disney characters. I hope this is false imo this is a waste of money that can be spent elsewhere.

Keep in mind it is a 40 year old building in Florida that has had water running through it for most of that time. Not to mention all the moisture from all those sweaty tourists. It's possible the building is just worn out.

Interesting. At first I thought this was the website for The Washington Examiner, which is a free, daily, somewhat conservative newspaper (kind of the anti-Washington post). But I see now it's something totally different, kind of Wiki-esque. And as such, I have a hard time putting much credance to it.

It would be interested in knowing what this so-called leaked third set of plans is referring to.
