Don't get me wrong. Glad DHS thought of 2 Shows for Opening weekend, but not through Thanksgiving???? Hopefully DHS is prepared to schedule more Shows if needed??

I'll take what I can get. With a closing at 9pm I'm sure they aren't excited about having people in the park at 10pm. Should we assume they'll run the Skyliner until 11pm instead of 10pm for those days?

Wow, demand is going to be through the roof for this and they’ll be regularly turning people away. I feel bad for those cast members having to do that. Yikes.
So we do not know yet if it is Genie+? I am wondering if we should change our park reservation for HS the day we want to go (basically our last day)? Our original plan is reservation at MK, hop to HS after 2 (maybe around 6] and then do F! As our last thing. BUT will I not be able to book it as Genie+ until after 2? Do we know anything yet?

I believe you can always return to your initial park, though jumping to MK and then back to DHS can be a pain

I think they can. If there is this shortage of character performers that is being reported, that’s going to impact Fantasmic, character dining and meet & greets.
It’s going to mean long lines and lots of disappointed guests though.

If Fantasmic is a G+ attraction, and it has the same rules as everything else, then you’ll be able to book it wherever your park reservation is for.
However it’s also possible they’ll restrict it to those with DHS reservations. And we don’t yet know that.
So I should change my park reservation from MK (our last day favorite) just to be able to get a Genie+ for Fantasmic at 9 pm on our last night? i would rather not do this but al no way could we stand in the queue AND stand all the way through F!
It's easier for Disney to add times if the crowds are cray cray, which looks good; than to take away a scheduled time if crowds die down, which looks bad.

True but, DHS didn't go with an early start time. If they did, they would have time for a second performance?

There’s no way to know yet. We don’t know if it will be part of Genie+. And we don’t know what special rules may apply
But if its that important to you, then I’d change the reservation while you can. Do you have another MK day? Could you switch MK and DHS?

Let's look at seating in terms of at a football game. F! dining seating is likely to be between the two 40 yard lines. They're making more money with the dining reservations so they get the best seats. IF they have G+ or ILL (as they previously did FP+, and why wouldn't they? They'd be charging for seating, likely to be whatever the highest rate is on that day), your seating would somewhere between the 30 and 40 yard lines on either side. Standby would between end zone and 30 on either side. So keep in mind it won't be seating in the center but off to either side and better than standby.

No announcement on that yet. If there is ILL, an announcement would like be a day or two before since you can only purchase on the same day anyway.
