That should be interesting! Although Mickey never shot Pyro on top of the Mountain or the shack at DL....could this be a first????


As for DL, saw on YT that last night, there was pyro when Mickey appeared at the start of F! How long has that been going on????

Typically yes. I believe the costume is quite heavy, and they look for someone with height.

They added that new pyro cue since early June. Although I wish they change the timing to a second later. It goes off too early and you can see Mickey rise up from the lift because of that, ruining the effect.

In the DL version.... Long time. Original version had minor fireworks in the Fantasia scene near the beginning. WDW has some too, mostly just a burst as fantasia transitioned to jungle book / lion king.

They're not talking about the pyro during the Fantasia/water screen section.

Omgosh.... The left side and right side fountains don't work? I thought that was like a one-off and the person just had bad luck and whatever show they decided to record. I did not realize this was an ongoing issue. That's terrible!

They can bring back World of color but they can't get the two small sets of mountains on stage left and stage right to work? Wow.

That said, turning the attention back to Disney worlds Fantasmic.... With the new segment replacing what I assume to be Pocahontas, I wonder if there are any upgrades to the fountains on this coast? And how long goes upgrades will last? 🙂

Oh boy, DL's F! has been a mess since it came back. The side fountains were on during the first week, but were erratic in behavior/syncing issues. I believe during the finale, the fountains accidentally sprayed towards the Mark Twain and almost soaked some CMs.

Since around one week after the show returning, the side fountains have been turned off. They've also had issues with the center tall one also.

And don't even worry about WoC. So many broken fountains there as well, it's so obvious in some segments. But they have been fixing them slowly, so maybe WoC is their current priority.

Also, they did a whole excavation/replacement on the pipes that feed to the fountains/water screens. If this indicates that those fountains have been upgraded remains a question. I believe the centre fountain is mostly fixed, although one moving fountain seems to still be offline.

I have to assume it's a major supply chain issue? Even when they attempted to use the side fountains, only a few were working.

I got confused for a second when you said one of the moving fountains is still offline. Thought you meant one of the left or right side fountains have been fixed, that I got excited lol!

I don't get why they just keep the side fountains stagnant as a B-mode. They clearly can't move correctly, so just keep them still.
