Take this with a grain of salt but I have friends who know performers that have been called back to start rehearsals very soonNext milestone we need to hear about is cast rehearsals.

So excited, let’s hope this is true.Take this with a grain of salt but I have friends who know performers that have been called back to start rehearsals very soon
Honestly, they did. The setbacks were somewhat devastating at times. They must have had some real technical challenges with the refurbishment.
It actually has less to with the appearance of the performer and more to do with the weight of the scepter that Maleficent waves around. However, your information was correct (not just gossip) as of 2020.I know this is mainly supposed to be a joke, but isn't Maleficent played by a man in Fantasmic? When I was a CP, we were told that it helps Maleficent seem larger and more menacing from a distance, and I remember talking to a guy who sent me pictures of him in the Maleficent makeup for Fantasmic. They may have changed this since 2010, or it could be cast member gossip, but I figure some here should know for sure.
It was not confirmed because DHS appears to have cut the budget for new fountains. When seen testing, they are confirmed to be the original, non-articulating fountains, but with new LED lighting. The technical updates don't seem to go beyond a replacement of existing lighting, speakers, and projectors and the update to the Fan! 2.0 sountrack from DL. I'm not currently expecting the DL style projection mapping either. The show will likely appear cleaner and fresher, but I wouldn't expect anything truly new effects-wise. I hope I'm wrong. Was it confirmed that F! at DHS will have new fountains like Disneyland?
Nah. Take the whole salt mine. I also know that a full cast of performers has have been called/hired to rehearse Fant! Barring any more technical disasters, it's actually happening.Take this with a grain of salt but I have friends who know performers that have been called back to start rehearsals very soon
Wait, no moving fountains and no projection mapping? What was this for?!Honestly, they did. The setbacks were somewhat devastating at times.

Wonderful!!!!!! If nothing blows up, we should be ready for Good News at D23?????Honestly, they did. The setbacks were somewhat devastating at times.

I hope not. Their 2.0 theme is too fast and upbeat it changes/ruins the finale with Sorceror Mickey.Wonder if DHS will get TDS F! Theme after the show like DL????
I meant the exit version the plays after DL F! 2.0. It's the slower version of TDS F! that played after F! at TDS.I hope not. Their 2.0 theme is too fast and upbeat it changes/ruins the finale with Sorceror Mickey.
I’d LOVE to see this open before our Halloween trip. We miss it very much.Nah. Take the whole salt mine. I also know that a full cast of performers has have been called/hired to rehearse Fant! Barring any more technical disasters, it's actually happening.
Oooh, I completely missed what you meant by "after the show". I do love that post-show music from TDS (and now DL 2.0)I meant the exit version the plays after DL F! 2.0. It's the slower version of TDS F! that played after F! at TDS.
Ron Logan who produced Illuminations: Reflection of Earth, Fantasmic!, and other nighttime shows just passed away.
Except him to be featured during an "In Memoriam" Presentation at D23 2022.Saw that earlier, so sad! Wonder if DHS F! will be dedicated to him?
Wouldn't doubt it.Saw that earlier, so sad! Wonder if DHS F! will be dedicated to him?

Still no announcement till D23?Things are finally going well for F!
Looking forward to seeing this soon, but from what I’m hearing, it will fill up quickly since I expect most will prefer it to DEv2.0 and Harm. But I’ll take the win.
That’s not that much of a wait is it? And they can probably provide some actual footage by then.Still no announcement till D23?
No it isn't!That’s not that much of a wait is it? And they can probably provide some actual footage by then.
