UGH, really hoping for mid-November. We haven’t been to WDW in 13 years and love F! Celebrating a milestone birthday for DH and he loves doing the dinner package.

We left the studios around 8 and there were a bunch of people just entering the park. I wonder if they were doing cast member previews.

No sound that we could hear but we were on the friendship boat back to resort. The cast member said they were testing and we all cheered. It was the boat for fantasmic that we could see lit up.

There are many reasons.

I'm guessing he thinks it's funny or embarrassing that TDO couldn't get it together for F! in 2022.......Hopefully that's not the case!!!

Also let's hope the Date Announcement lives up to itself and not like the F! Bench Fiasco!!!!!!!!! F! doesn't need anymore Benches either!!!!!

It's funny because they gave themselves an entire year, and they're in real danger of missing their own vague projection. Maybe sad is a better word, but it's so sad that you just have to laugh.

Also sad that this Site rumored a "Safe" F! back in February 2021 and look where we are now!...........

I don't know that that's accurate. It's actually become a running joke because there was a person who posted that it would return in February. The vast majority of us on this site said that wasn't going to happen. Now the running joke is every February they have another chance to be correct.

But I don't think WDW Magic ever stated it was the coming back in " February". Just a poster on WDW Magic. That's not the same thing.

You are right, Steve never Announced anything like that. Not going to lie, that timeline sounded so good back then!!! It's weird it's taking this long. Hopefully the Upgrades are worth all this time.......

There were rehearsals scheduled early in this calendar year with the hopes of a Spring return.

Then some unnamed unforeseen issues kept delaying it.

It had some more setbacks, but it hasn't delayed things that badly. Still looking good for it to comfortably return before the end of the year. The date I have has not been mentioned, but isn't far off.

So they're rehearsing something with the lights and main props and people are still saying Nov/Dec? Seems much sooner than that if they're firing up the systems now. I am also rooting hard it is soon, as my early Nov (2nd week) seemed a no brainer would be safely back and now is bring mentioned as return time frame here.

The Target Date Goal is not widely known. Only TDO knows and it appears that Steve has some insight. Reminder: No Date or Previews of any kind are in the Public Yet!
