Fantasmic might be cancelled tonight

My disney experience is reporting 30 minutes for rock and tower and everything, except TSMM which has 95 minutes , is less than that. Is this accurate?
I assume not lol.
It's totally possible since most people are mostly there for the villains and instead of the line for ToT, they're on the lines for the meet and greet!

Here are 2 photos from attraction magazines twitter account. The top one is the hades stage and the second one is the line for baggage screening before entering. I don't think this was planned out very well. Maybe next year they could just combine unleash the villains and MNSSHP into a big event that runs thru sept & oct? Can anyone say Disney Villain's Scary Halloween Party 2014, Sept thru Oct????

Two thoughts...

1. Either a second Holloween event, presumably a hard ticket, geared to be more "scary" and focusing on the villains. Possible with using a Tim Burton theme (Nightmare before Christmas & Frankenweenie) as part of it, which has previously been rumored. Could use some temporary haunted houses in some of the empty buildings as well.

2. Make "Unleash the Villains" a regular thing on every Friday the 13th. I think that would typically be ~2 a year (they occur on average about every 7 months).

Yes Villains are popular right now for two reasons:

1. Halloween is coming
2. It's limited time only.

Do a month long villains event in February and the popularity will be small. Who wants to be frightened in February when love is the theme of the month making Princesses more desirable in that month.

And as such Villains do not deserve a park/land to themselves. More merch and more appearances in Fall certainly but that's it.

I think #2 is the primary thing. And on the other thread there was commentary that a lot of the crowd at DHS is from current CMs -- which suggests that it might be people going as a novelty than it being something that is popular in absolute terms. If you wanted to see Unleash the Villains, you had to go tonight. If Unleash the Villains was planned for multiple times over the next few weeks, you'd probably see much smaller crowds at each one.

I think a more scary Halloween even at DHS has potential, but probably only in more limited quantity than MNSSHP -- maybe only in October and only 1-2 nights a week. That's why I suggested possibly making this a regular "Friday the 13th" offering. It would keep it a rare occurrence/keep the novelty, while having it be a recurring thing.

I just remembered that every year, Disneyland Paris runs two Halloween events throughout Fall, MNSSHP at Disneyland which is the same as at other Disney parks but they also have TERRORific Night at Walt Disney Studios which is almost identical to Universal's HHNs, just on a lower budget. WDW should definitely do this.
