Fantasmic might be cancelled tonight

I thought Disney would have been better prepared for the amount of the people that came and to see that many people crammed into the studios is amazing... hopefully they do this type of event next year since it looked like fun.

I'm not aware of this incident tonight, but the wait at guest relations was at least 30-40 minutes at 12:45am due to the poor organization of tonight's events...I felt awful for the cast members working tonight ...we quickly re-newest our annual annual passes...the cast members there were referring all guests to call or email about tonight's event...
I belie e video is on the WDW Kingdom Cast Facebook page.

Just finished watching the 30th over again and the extra tag is just shy of 5:00, so a mere 1:00-200 difference im missing.
Watched the Studios 13th show and found it too distracting with obstacles(buildings and such) in the way of the works, the epcots were intense from the start of extra tag straight to the thumping end. They werent as sky filling as epcots were either.

The music on the 13th was pretty cool though

To each their own though.

Dude. That was a three minute tag. This was a 10 minute show created for this event.

You obviously are missing the subtle SEVEN minute difference.

Yes Villains are popular right now for two reasons:

1. Halloween is coming
2. It's limited time only.

Do a month long villains event in February and the popularity will be small. Who wants to be frightened in February when love is the theme of the month making Princesses more desirable in that month.

And as such Villains do not deserve a park/land to themselves. More merch and more appearances in Fall certainly but that's it.
Uh... Your post is very "you"centric.

Just because you like princesses does not mean the masses are begging for more.

Princesses have their place. They also had their own hard ticket party. It failed. Why? Demand.

I am still not sold on a hard ticket event for these parties. Just a once a month Friday night PARTY!

This has been something very much lacking since Pleasure Island shut down.

Imagine if they would have really marketed this.

Remember the old "Date Nights at Disneyland" on Friday and Saturday nights?

This is today's answer. Exploit the demand trifecta:

1: Late night party entertainment.
2: Booz
3: Adultish skewing that the Villians bring to an otherwise save Disney brand.

This is an insanely lucky branding opportunity to dig into the inner psyche of adult guests that want to unleash their own inner Villian for a night of faux mischief.

When the adults let loose, the wallet's in use.

This is exactly what Next Generation has failed to bring.

Oh, and a love theme party?

Seriously, who is the target for that?

Who would find that fun?

Do you truly think Thumper and Mrs. Bunny would ne a bigger draw than Oogie Boogie?

Should they play Celine Dion and sell light up Zinfendel?

A villain-themed iteration of Mad T Party for DHS would be just the thing.

What? Where did I sa I like princesses? I said Princesses are more desirable than villains in February because Valentines day falls into that month whereas Villains are more popular in Fall as it is Halloween making a villain event any other time of the year will be less popular than the one held the other night.

And this is a forum, I'm entitled to having an opinion.

Pirate/Princess party? Valentines themed event that happen every year?

I'm not sure where you are going with this or if you even read my post. Where have I said anything about a princess/love event? My post is all about holding a villain event any other time of year will not be as popular as the last one, showing villains do not deserve their own park. The event would attract people in February for a month just not the crowds saw on the thirteenth which was only crowded due to the limited time nature and Halloween theme.

If you have some unnatural obsession with villains that I don't have then fine, but don't get angry because you disagree with my opinion.
