On a side note, I have an entire 8 spoke hub design for a villains vs. heroes park layout including 15 attractions drawn up. I have ideas for 8 more attractions. Anyone have the ear of an imagineer? Most of my ride designs would make Potter fans drool....

It was completely insane there! Lines for food were long and some people waited 3 hours to see a villain...
Some buses took 2 hours to go round trip from resorts... Insane-ness...

I think after this showcasing of villians for one day, and how extremely popular it was, they would be stupid not to do a separate hard ticket event at DHS!

Make it a Villians themed Halloween party with trick or treating trails and villains around every corner! They could even use the unused sound stages and do 1 or 2 haunted mazes or something, I am not looking for a Uni copy, but family Friendly haunted houses with a little Disney magic could work great!

On a side note I have always be a huge fan of a Villains Land at MK! Don't get me started on all the ideas I have! I'm so shocked they never made one...

sadly the company no longer operates on having a great idea and deciding to place it in the park. They say hey this makes money in merchandise, make that a thing so we can sell more of it, but don't make it to crazy. We need to make sure we have enough money to build more DVC buildings.

I saw on another site that someone went ape on a crowded/traffic jammed bus and had to be taken off by the fuzz.

Anyone know more?
I'm not aware of this incident tonight, but the wait at guest relations was at least 30-40 minutes at 12:45am due to the poor organization of tonight's events...I felt awful for the cast members working tonight ...we quickly re-newest our annual annual passes...the cast members there were referring all guests to call or email about tonight's event...

Ya, they take notice, It will be permanant in the future, or at least some version...You cant say they took notice and just ignored the opportunity to seize a cash cow.
THere will be the merchandise, the special pins, the everything under the sun for sale
Well Disney finally found a draw to DHS, even for just a night.

I just remembered that every year, Disneyland Paris runs two Halloween events throughout Fall, MNSSHP at Disneyland which is the same as at other Disney parks but they also have TERRORific Night at Walt Disney Studios which is almost identical to Universal's HHNs, just on a lower budget. WDW should definitely do this.

They don't do terrorific nights anymore

We, unfortunately, were in the worst of last night's debacle. Started at transportation hub at 6:40. Two hours of traffic later (including an ambulance visiting our bus), we were, w/out any explanation or help, dropped off at Boardwalk. 45 minutes of ferry wait/ride later we hit the park at 9:25. Stayed for maybe an hour and went back out to try and find a ride back to resort where we were told by a cast member directing traffic that the good news was there were bus drivers but bad news was no busses. No schedules could be counted on b/c nobody could tell when a bus could get into parking lot. She said wait could be 40-45 minutes for next bus. Luckily one got in and we were next in line. Total damage? 2 hrs. 45 minutes to get there, 60 minutes in park, 1 hour wait/ride back to French Quarter. Somebody underestimated this event's drawing power severely. Not impressed.

Yes Villains are popular right now for two reasons:

1. Halloween is coming
2. It's limited time only.

Do a month long villains event in February and the popularity will be small. Who wants to be frightened in February when love is the theme of the month making Princesses more desirable in that month.

And as such Villains do not deserve a park/land to themselves. More merch and more appearances in Fall certainly but that's it.

I think you are seriously underestimating the villians' popularity. Granted, last night was the madhouse it was because it was a one-time limited thing, but much more can be done and for longer periods - and should.
