WoC has gotten better since it returned. But it's so neutered with all the noticeable broken ones, buts it's been like that for years even before the closure lol.

I've also been theorizing that for months now haha, that and/or also used for parts in the "complete" center set in F!

Since Harmonius is going to be scrapped, send the dozens of fountain heads from that show to the west! Although they do look like a different type of fountain head; looks much smaller or something from some close up pics we got during its construction.

Something I have noticed for Seasons of Light specifically, I can see in video they have installed the "Candy cane" snow machines in the viewing area, that create those Snoap shapes, but I haven't seen any video showing them actually being used / working.

Yeah I figured those heart soap bubbles have been cut. It was always cool to see. Hopefully they do return whatever the issue may be.

I saw the show a week ago and they weren't around. The effect might have been cut and its just there for decoration.

The side fountains for Fantasmic seem to be completely off again. This livestream, and two other videos uploaded within the last week have no trace of them unless I'm missing something.

Yeah you're right. Here's another livestream from last night viewed from the left side.

Both left and right side fountains are off, again. What a travesty. And now since the show is performed daily (again), wonder if they have any time to even fix 'em..

The side fountains were back tonight, thankfully. (though still in static/B mode as expected)
I was quite worried they'd be out of commission for a long time again considering how long it took before. I don't mean to turn this into a daily "fountain watch" thread. (Though between F! and WoC and the incoming castle moat fountains, there are a lot of fountains to be concerned with these days...)

Yep I was there too. I guess this was one of those "minor" downtimes though the fact they've been down and out since the show returned didn't give much confidence on how long they were gonna get fixed again

Boy, I just watched it. Are the live Aladin and Jasmine on the hydraulics new? I don't ever remember them before. Also we've gone on for pages here when Murphy the dragon goes down. Has it just been the witch on the hydraulics for some time?
I'm going to watch the whole Candlelight Processional. It's always impressive.

Great! Although it looks like a few of the static fountain heads are still broken, can only see 4/7 on.

Also Mirabel is on the steamboat which is relatively new?

No Pyro at all in the 2nd F! at DL last night. Interesting..........

I think there were wind issues? “Believe…” went into B-Mode during the second to last scene.

Eta:

Interesting they could do dragon fire still. But no other pyro. Also had Mickey stay at the top at the end with a fully planned lighting plan for that “b-mode”.

Noticing the side fountains are gone again also…

Wind wouldn't usually shut down the small stage pyro like the flashes for when Mickey appears/disappears, also Mickey's pyro hands at the beginning/dragon scene were off. There's been numerous performances where high pyro from the cabin and barges were turned off, but everything else was still on.

That B-mode lighting finale was pretty cool. Always wanted it recorded since it's happened once in the past (from reports) and now we finally have that. Having Sorceror Mickey switch into Tuxedo Mickey is probably too noticeable without the pyro. I also think the spotlights aren't enough at DL to hide the effect unlike at WDW where it can, due to the distance and more lighting to hide the transition. 😄

Also those fountains are some stinkers, geez. Center moving fountains are already out of sync.. If I got a dining package for that show, I would at least ask for a refund, even though they wouldn't budge. But at least offer a pass for another showing lol.

However, this was a very rare occurrence/performance overall. Malificient and Murphy were MIA in the first show apparently too, so lots of tech problems last night.

Random question:

I've noticed there have been a lot of showings with a stuntless pirate scene. I really don't recall this happening prior to the reopening, at least not frequently enough to be noticed.

What is going on? Is this a cast call out issue? A b-cast that does a stuntless version when the are in rotation?

It really drags down that section....

I remember seeing a stuntless pan scene multiple times in 2014 ish. Not sure if it's weather related- no stunts if it's wet, cast issue or all of the above.

I usually skip that segment on my watches (oops), but I did notice that recently also. It's not as good when Captain Jack is walking above on the ropes. Can barely tell what's happening when they're all bunched up on the deck of the ship, lol. I imagine it's a cast/equity issue

Something else I noticed a lot recently is that in the finale, all the characters are already on the port-side (left side) of the steamboat. They don't do their choreography when some of them walk around the boat from starboard-side to port-side. Not sure what's going on with that either. Could be because there's a lack of characters available some nights I guess..

Here's one from the other night that shows this

Could be multiple things. If there are any issues with the Columbia that would render any stunts unsafe, then they go stuntless. If enough stunt performers call out, same thing.

But this frequently? I have to think it is staffing issues. I swear every other live I come across has a stuntless show.
