Another UK spot

If it counts me and my wife spotted Ray Clemence of Liverpool Football Club fame during the 70's and 80's in line to go on Mission Space, i am a huge liverpool fan but i dont like to hassle famous people as they need there own space.

Let's see...

Lou Gossett Jr, when he was taping one of those short video interviews that used to play on the monitors around Disney-MGM Studios back when it first opened.

Kurt Warner and Mary Lou Retton at ESPN the Weekend, I think it was in 2005.

The lovely and talented Eartha Kitt doing the narration at the Candlelight Processional. She was fantastic. She sounded like a minister giving a sermon and she was full of passion reading it. I'm not Christian, but even I was moved by her delivery.

I saw The Beach Boys and Davy Jones in concert during festivals at Epcot(Food & Wine for Beach Boys, Flower & Garden for Davy Jones)

I met Mike Shanahan(Denver Broncos Head Coach) when I was working at the Bell Desk at Boardwalk Resort and Inn. He came up and asked me where a good place to get a burger was. I hadn't realized it was him at first, just that he looked awful familiar, so I mentioned the ESPN Club being the closest. He told me he had to go there a little later anyway, so he'd make it his first stop. As he turned to go, someone that knew him personally was walking by and said to him "Jeez, they let anybody in here, don't they?" The two of them started laughing and his friend introduced a traveling companion to him.

I also got my picture with Amy Allen at Star Wars Weekend(She played Aayla Secura, the blue Twi'lek Jedi Master in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith)

I think that's about everyone I've seen so far. If I remember any others I'll post again.

I ran into Rosie O'Donnell at Super Soaps Weekend (she was there filming a segment for The View). She and her entourage were eating a few tables away from me at the ABC Commissary. There was a group of CM's surrounding her table all holding their hands, as if they were expecting someone to charge the table at any given moment.

I've seen famous or rich people being escorted before.. but i couldn't for the life of you tell you who they are. I've met the starwars weekend guests this year while getting ready for the parade.

While my sister in law and my dad and I were waiting for my brother and my mom to get off of TOT this past Thursday(Thanksgiving), we saw David Robinson from the San Antonio Spurs. Without even thinking my dad said hey David like he had known him forever. David was very nice and took a picture with my sister in law. It was crazy and exciting to see a celebrity at Disney. It was definetly a once in a lifetime experience!:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

I saw Dave Thomas (Who's Line) at MGM, we were sitting near him and his son while eating a frozen lemonade from the stand outside of RnRC.

The first saturday of Star Wars Weekends this year me and my GF walked right by Warrick Davis and his Daughter at Typhoon Lagoon on the way to the shark reef.

Major league baseball execs are meeting at WDW in a week or so, but I would be surprised to see them on Splash Mountain or Everest Expedition. More likely to see them hanging out at the resort bar.

I met Paul DiMeo from Extreme Home Makeovers last Christmas.

MJ got to meet Murray Wiggle, Johnny from Johnny and the Sprites, Dan Zane and the Imagination Movers.

I saw Evander Holyfield at 8 Trax about 3 days after the Mike Tyson ear-biting incident. He hadn't had his ear "reconstructed" yet. It was pretty gross, and yet really cool at the same time!

Oh, and Jonathan Taylor Thomas was about 3 parties in front of us at Splash Mountain back in the early '90s :animwink:

Any more photos?! It's neat to hear the stories of people seeing/meeting celebrities at WDW. I'm assuming DL probably gets more celebs, though, since most live out West.

Jason Alexander
Roy Disney (with wife)
Al Weiss/various high-level Disney execs (maybe Bob Iger)
Tom Bergeron
Lots of Disney Channel people (cast of That's So Raven, High School Music, Zack and Cody, etc.)
Joey Fatone
A few pro football players

That was three months of working at Expedition Everest when it first previewed/soft-opened. Lots and LOTS of conventions, tapings, special nights, etc.

I don't recall ever seeing celebrities walking around the parks, though.

They'll be at the Dolphin December 3rd-7th I believe. Definitely keep an eye out if you're on property that week!
