Fairies start date/Character info

Please remember these could change.


-As of right now the Fairies Room in Toon Town is set to open October 26th for meet n greets with Tink, Silvermist, Fawn, Iridessa and Rosetta.
-Bolt should be in the parks around that time as well for meet n greets.
-As of right now there are no character/entertainment changes expected this year at MNSSHP.

Thanks Drew! I wish Tinkerbell was around durng my trip in September, as my DD is a huge fan. I was curious about the entertainment factor on MNSSHP, because when I seen the news about it on disney's press site, it did not mention the Villians Mix and Mingle and I really want to see that.

We're actually going to Disney for our honeymoon and will be attending MNSSHP. Does anyone know of the characters we may see? Darkwing Duck? Big Bad Wolf?

Last year we attended the last Halloween party in September. I had hoped to do a meet and greet with Tarzan and Jane in Adventureland but they weren't there. I thought that it was a "cut back" for that year's parties. But then I was disappointed to hear that they started attending all of the parties in October. Coincidentally? Disney's fiscal year starts October 1 -- not sure that had anything to do with it.

Does anyone know if we can expect to see Tarzan and Jane when we attend one of the first parties at the beginning of September?

haha but then they'd have to cast an entirely new group of faces when there's already a decent sized pool to draw from... :lookaroun

I do feel bad because about a year or year and a half ago, a lot of the shorter people in the department were excited because they thought they were finally getting some faces thrown their way....

OK, nobody hurt me for saying this (because I mean no offense, just was thinking about the great "height debate"), but maybe the fairies are ummm "taller" because as "characters" they have "long, long legs" and when a person is "taller" they may have this feature more often then those who are, lets say, of a "lesser" height. :shrug: Just an idea.

I think that some of the changes coming to the ent dept will help this though- guess we'll just have to see

I don't see how this issue isn't problematic with nearly every character?

Even beyond the Fab 5 type characters, a huge number of characters that make appearances that are from films in which they are seen with humans. Characters like Suzy, Perla and Meeko are the height of adult humans in the parks, and kids seem to be okay with it.

I think kids' imaginations make up for the height differences.
