You know the Carolwood Society (no affiliation with Disney) is actually working on restoring one of the locomotives! No clue if it would still be functional mechanically since it runs on a battery (iirc) and the battery in there would likely be dead, but that’s still a pretty good choice for a ride either way! I can’t argue with you there!

Toad is nearly my favorite ride at DLR. I also enjoyed their version of 20,000 leagues as a kid; never had the pleasure of experiencing the WDW version of either ride.
