Expo, I rode SE today 1/8, and you are right nothing has changed in the descent except.....I could swear the shape of the curtains in the pepperghost has changed. They looked much much straighter and flat and before, the shape of them higher up you could see different areas that sorta looked like blocks covered up. Now its all flat and straightened out. I have no doubt they are doing something behind there. Did it appear this way to you? The last time I rode was before Christmas and today I know this area curtained off looked different by shape and size.
There also appears to be more traingles than before or am I just starting to be paranoid about triangles and adding more in my mind lol?
Towards the end they do have a nice glow effect going on your right and that chicken wire area right towards the end is yuck!!! But did you notice all the work materials laying on top of it from above? I dont know what all that junk is but there is lots of it now.
Hope you dont mind me adding a little ride report here I thought it would be better than starting yet another whole new thread.
Anyway I think we have more to see yet, whenever they throw the switch and move the curtains away, Im feeling more and more certain about it. And I got to thinking maybe just maybe there might be a new type of glitter city scene effect behind those curtains in the pepperghost? I guess thats asking too much at this point but there is def something going on back there.:wave:
ps: the audio in the ride was super good, even at the 180 top it was much louder altho its still flat to me but whatever. No music in the queue, none, zilch, nunca. Whats the deal..... And still the green light dancing at the top from the matrix tunnel has gotta go. And the hallelujuh chorus in the sistine chapel scenes sounds awful I thought, its all muffled and you cant even hear the music. Why didnt they record something in latin or italian instead, the english doesnt fit with the location or time period per say. Sorry I was an art history major so couldnt help but think the political correctness there is just unfitting.

I have no idea the next time I will go to Epcot. 
I am going to the AK and MK in a few days to wrap up one more mini trip and then I head back to the snow infested lands of the northern USA. :dazzle:
I do think something is going on with peppers,ghost, one reason is that the curtains are indeed so close and go all the way up and point to the ceiling.
My thing is.....so what. Didn't pepper's ghost itself go from floor to ceiling?
Could it be a new glitter city? Possibly one that reflects the city we see when they are creating out future....could be.
The very last corridor is the most finished IMO, but if the touch screens were OFF this would be fine as we wouldnt see the mechanics needed to operate this part of the ride.
I did notice some "things" lying on the wiremesh, and there are some thing stuck in the sides in canopy cove, etc.
What I want to know is, what is the big alcove that is on our right in the old gas clouds area, is that really the little storage/work room...because its just full out poles, wires, and cut-outs made into the foamwork of the ride.

I do think something is going on with peppers,ghost, one reason is that the curtains are indeed so close and go all the way up and point to the ceiling.

This is starting to freak me out. A few months ago' I was thinking they should paint the canopy poles blue. I thought about it for awhile' decided it was not feasible and it would be easier to just tear them down' But Disney actually did paint the poles blue. I hope they have'nt been reading my mind.:lookaroun
