To allwho watched the video, watch it again, and again. With each time you watch it it gets better. You start to realize how much time, work, detail and sheer brilliance went into the making of this attraction. The one thing I dislike is that it will make my lovely park of Animal Kingdom that much more crowded:D .

This attraction is incredible. Don't take that the wrong way, I don't mean that it is an Incredible attraction, I mean it IS incredible. The defination of incredible is this. Expedition Everest is a Spectacularly Disney attraction, and it shouldn't be any other way.

This is no different than any guest filming an attraction after the Cast Member says, "No videotaping or flash photography." It never stops anyone.

That makes it OK? That's something that's always surprised me about some Disney fan sites. Love Disney, make your own rules. Maybe other theme parks just police their fan sites better.

Do we know they were told no videography? Let's not assume.

If they were told, that's wrong then and not cool and they should remove those videos.

Well I for one will definitely watch it. 87% of the first one downloaded now, and then I'll get #2 and I'm PSYCHED! We probably won't get there until 2007, and this will be nothing more than a sweet temptation...YAHOO :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

They also said you've never seen something this big move this fast. the only thing moving fast was the projection. A big of a let down since the AA on Journey to the center of the earth looks better to me. I really cant help feeling let down. It looks neat but not nearly what they were building it up to be.

You have not even seen the yeti yet. Don't judge him based on a poor quality blurry video.

^ exactly, it will probably scare the crap out lots of people because it will come out of nowhere.

Well, maybe not nowhere now because we know when to look lol.

As much as I want to see the Yeti, I'll gladly wait a few more days to see it in person. Besides, I doubt videos will do it any justice.

Next weekend are the CM previews and then AP/DVC after that. There are bound to be more videos popping up then. These are just a bit earlier. ;)
No this isn't. E:E isn't even handed over to WDW ops. I'm perfectly fine with a video then, but this is way too early. You should have waited until Cast previews. You know, this kills me. WDI and E:E ops work so hard to keep this great ride under wraps, and some guy can ruin it with a few clicks of the mouse. All so this site can get more hits. Don't watch the videos guys. For WDI's sake, wait until at least Cast previews to watch it. (Many thanks to all who didn't. As the end of Indiana Jones Adventure at DLR says, "Real rewards await those who choose wisely....")

Oh, and you are sure that's video from cast member preview w. the travel channel shooting and not Saturday's shoot with imagineers/contractors where they might not have mentioned that no video is allowed?

If that's not the case, those links should be removed. We shouldn't be distributing 'illegal' videos for this guy. Meanwhile, I'll do my best to get legal videos of the attraction.

(it looks like that kid has been shut down before).

J.

edit: I heard the ride was passed over to WDW attractions on Saturday, but that was from cast members (we all know how reliable they can be with info).

I never said the yeti looked bad i said that you dont have the encounter with the yeti that they suggested, the ride moves along far too quickly. Instead you get a shadow puppet and a split second with the actual AA. Why bother putting all this detail and hype up the AA when you only see it for milliseconds? But i don't wear flamboyant earings so what do i know?

chill out... it was previews that included families and guests. If they didn't want it filmed, they could have searched every rider and confiscated camcorders/cameras. They didn't, so they have to assume a video would be released.

I'll watch the video if I want and spill the information. If you don't want to know... don't read threads that could include the information.

They never suggested different. JR has always said that you will only see the Yeti himself for a brief moment.

This was taken just yesterday when a few Cast members (this guy will get fired now, due to his carelessness.) were let on before they did another little film shoot for more B-Roll footage. They were all strictly told that there is no videotaping or photography of ANY kind, and those who do other wise will get there pictures and/or video deleted from the camera and be escorted out of Animal Kingdom. These are without a doubt, 'illegal' videos. After maybe Cast and Passholder previews will be when that is allowed. Please, don't share or watch these videos. Do it not for me, but for everyone at WDI. Don't give this site hits. If you really love the work of WDI, you will not watch these videos.

That's probably the best thing I've read in a long time.
