I'm probably going to say something about the volume if I go next week... x__x I haven't been on CTX since 2008.Yea, I was on EE yesterday just after my disappointing CTX ride (Dinosaur Effects Change). I was wondering what was going on, and thought maybe the yeti decided to go to the Dr. and get fixed. :ROFLOL:

When I rode EE late last month, the Disco Yeti was not dancing for the day. As in, the strobe wasn't working then, either! It could mean one of three things:
1. He's finally being fixed :ROFLOL:
2. Disney could care even less now
3. He's being replaced by a cast member holding a paper cut-out on a popsicle stick who will stand and wiggle it toward you while making a roaring sound
My money goes on answer 2.
Anyone wanna put bets on if it will be fixed?
This is all part of mickey's not so scary animal kingdom rides, you are finally tall enough to ride the good rides but still not old enough to get scared.:ROFLOL:
Did they finally remove him? Fix underway? Fingers crossed.
This has always bugged me too about the strobe effect. Its like its not even a well done strobe effect... and how hard is that to mess up? Seriously. Even B-Mode Yeti could be so much more with just a few more light effects.
This myth that the Yeti was ever really something spectacular has to end.
All they would really have to fix is 3 joints.
Shoulder. Waist. Jaw.
These three movements would be enough for viewers to see the movements they are capable of seeing in the 2 seconds they are in the Yeti room.
Dump the big heavy frame. The heavy fur and cut the weight by 70-80% by using lighter weight materials.
Then it will not only work but work well enough for the 2 seconds of viewing.
