Trip Report Everything Is Just So Peachy Keen! *COMPLETED*

It certainly was for us Georgia peaches this last week! For those who may be new here, let us introduce ourselves. We are Tuvalu and Em, a mother-daughter duo who love traveling together to Walt Disney World. We take multiple trips per year (this was our third for 2022) and for us, time spent at our resort is just as important to us as time spent in the parks. Slow-paced relaxation is vital to us!

I’m sure this laid-back vibe is what draws people to cruises: pools, bars, a variety of restaurants and activities from which to choose . I can’t do ships. But I can happily “land cruise” at WDW!

Hope you decide to follow along and learn about the surprises on our most recent voyage.

When: July 20-27, 2022
Where: Disney’s Yacht Club and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resorts

Since Haunted Mansion was a bust, we decided to try our luck in Adventureland.

Due to its new additions and Genie+, wait times for Jungle Cruise have been ridiculous. We’ve been skipping it lately. The standby sign posted 35 minutes - doable - so we entered the queue.

So by 35 minutes you really mean 10…..

I was seated in a good picture-taking spot. Too bad my photo prowess is nothing like @fractal ‘s.

Are real ducks even allowed in this attraction?

Fun Fact: This new elephant is Little Red, of Kilimanjaro Safari fame.

You got some nice shots!

We never saw anything less than 60 minutes for Jungle Cruise so we never went on it. Lucky you!

I only have good luck riding Jungle Cruise at night. Almost every time we've done the attraction during the day, I'm seated at the step area which is uncovered and it will start to rain. I was so excited back once because I was so sure I was going to get a good seat. But someone got up and changed seats and pushed me to my most hated seat in all of MK 🤣 All of my good Jungle Cruise pictures are either at the very beginning before it starts to rain or at the end when the rain has stopped lol.
