Suffice to say that some of the ideas in this thread are on the right sort of path.:animwink:

Awwww, c'mon! Tell us! How do you know so much about this ride? Since you know a lot about the ride, how will it rank (in your opinion) against the other WDW E-rides?

Here I expecting some construction delay due to finances or injury or something.... but didn't need to know a show detail.

*sigh*

LOL well I dont consider it a major spoiler since I believe it was mentioned during the media week annoucment.

On the side note I am glad to hear it wasnt due to cut backs or injury.

****SPOILER AHEAD****
This came from a reliable source/friend in WDI ... The Yeti's face looks very much like Eisners

It seems that Expedition: EVEREST is going to go through a few minor changes in the design process. In the plans for the attraction, the train you ride in gets "lifted up" by the Yeti. Unforuntately, WDI has been running into some problems with the safety of this effect, and now needs to come up with a replacement. This shouldn't take too long to fix, but it is still a problem. Just a little update. :)
They've changed the barf bags for barf BUCKETS...:D

How do I know? I've been on top of this attraction for well over a year now. Who was the first one here with model photos? :D

As for ranking it against other e-tickets, I have great hopes. From what I know it should offer the great thrills of a fine coaster, with the added feature of a great storyline and themeing.

Hey Lee, I know you've got some kind of source regarding Everest and I was wondering if you could answer one quick question regarding Everest that I have been wondering about for some time as there are conflicting rumors out there. Will Everest use sometime of "launching" system (LIM's or other launching systems) to propel you from scene to scene, etc. or will the movement of the train be mostly guided by lifts and the natural pull of gravity down hills? Thanks in advance if you know the answer.

All of the above, some more than others.

Sorry, nothing is there on Everest. Are you talking model or concept pics? We've seen the concept pics.

Re-looking at the model, look at how much track there is before you even start to climb the mountain. It circles out and around from what I imagine is the load station, goes around or under the part holding the temple and then makes a pretty big loop before ever starting the climb. I know the press release said that you would trek through bamboo forests and stuff, but is it possible that this area could also be a mini-grazing ground for animals? It would be so cool to have this train first go somewhat slowly around animals and such before ever actually getting to the mountain. This is just specualtion on my part, but if they use that model (it looks pretty similar to the concept pic they released), then there is a lot of time spent before ever getting to the mountain.
