Was this at the temporary kiosk...or is it still open right now? I love their sandwiches!Had their Norweigian Club sandwich (toasted) on NYEve along with School Bread and a Viking coffee (2 liquors) and loved all three. It was a marvelous experience, shoulder to shoulder in a sea of people to find virtually no wait for 'dinner' here, and that was the absolutely the BEST club sandwich I've ever had...not a typically dry bready cold meat sandwich, but a toasted warm moist meaty melted cheesy tasty delight. Of course, I was there for the ultra tasty school bread...the Viking coffee topped it off nicely on a cool night. Then the stellar fireworks display was awesome.View attachment 256188

That's impressive! I can't remember the last time I baked. Last time I cooked was probably in Boy Scouts. Now I feel like baking. You all talked about it so much, I had to make some!View attachment 256138
Now tell me the truth...were they just as good?I used a combination of the recipes at these three sites:
http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2009/08/12/recipe-school-bread-from-norways-kringla-bakeri-og-kafe/
https://spoonuniversity.com/recipe/how-to-make-epcot-norways-legendary-school-bread
https://www.thespruce.com/norwegian-school-bread-skolebrod-2952857
I didn't love any of the recipes as they were, so I picked and chose the parts I liked best.
The little bit I got was really good, but when I went downstairs for one the next morning, they were mysteriously gone! Now tell me the truth...were they just as good?
i wanted this soooooo much last week and it was closed!!!!! BOOO! oh well ill go jump in the car and head back ha!
I've never tried Scool Bread. One day I will (I always say that!). By far the best snack I've ever had at a theme park were the potato churro at TDS. Anyways this place needs the expansion.
Too late! I like itDon't try it unless they go back to real scool bread, what they have now is a wheat bread, they switched to it several years ago. Real scool bread is a sweat bread.
Right hereWhere is this?
I'll stick to the ham and cheese sandwiches at Les HallesHeading there in a month and just saw this- panic attack at the thought of no Sweet Pretzel with Almonds!
WHEW! I can breathe again.
Might have to try that club sandwich (minus onions) with the Lingonberry mayo....that sounds so good!
Right across from the Stave Church on the promenadeWhere is this?
