It is still early in development.Any chance the new show will see barges similar to Tokyo's new show or will it just be drone & pyro barges with one main fountain & media barge?

Have they decided a concrete concept for the show yet?It is still early in development.
I’ll be pretty impressed if the new show actually opens in 2023. I’m not convinced that’s realistic. At least we have EF ready to step in.I think Reflections of Earth took about 2 years to develop, but I believe that the thought process behind the story was being worked on in Don's mind a few years before the official start of development of the show. I could be wrong, but this is my understanding.
Is Harm's last show end of March? Do we know how long before interim show would start?
That's been the word on the street, March 31, 2023 is Harm's last show. Not sure when EF will spin back up, but I would expect it to happen relatively quickly, if not even within the next night or two.
It would be a Reflections of Earth without an Earth. If they wanted to (which I know they don’t) could they bring back Illuminations until they figure out what they’re going to do?
if they could figure out how to bring the images onto that Pink Floyd concert equipment in the lagoon, bring back the music and the celebration pyro …. It would be 1000x better than what they have now … but that isn’t happening….It would be a Reflections of Earth without an Earth.
Maybe they could cut the tacos loose and let them float around ala RoLBope

it’s been done. I actually really liked that version of the show (when the globe was being refurbished). It would be a Reflections of Earth without an Earth.
I don't see the problem here: they were totally willing to give us Harmonious without harmony. It would be a Reflections of Earth without an Earth.
I went to the send off event with him, Gavin and Eric Tucker. It was really a work of love and pure artistry. Brilliant minds that were about art and not cynical selling of plush ….Simple as hell really, load the video content into the screens, adjust some playbacks and masking.
Yea gotta re-time all the pyro, easy.
build new lighting cues, okay.
The only thing missing, would be the inferno barge... no filling that hole easily.
I wouldn't do it with pyro, that inferno effect was... really 2nd to none.
But could it all be done. Yes. There is NO technical reason it couldn't.
They might need Don D's blessing, or perhaps a royalty, but I'm pretty sure he would give it.
Hell he might want to re-do it all anyways. ROE was his crowning achievement, he might want to one up it.
There was a laser globe… much smaller and simpler laser images. Lots of content on YouTube to check it out.I believe the ORIGINAL illuminations did NOT have the globe. DH swears also it did not. And it was a heck of a lot more harmonious that what they will scrap!!!
Not that much smaller. There was a laser globe… much smaller and simpler laser images. Lots of content on YouTube to check it out.
