News EPCOT's Harmonious to be replaced with new nighttime spectacular Luminous

I went to see the show tonight. It's decidedly noticeable and a definite improvement on the show. I was impressed. It would be a shame if they reduce it back (or at least don't keep some of this). It was arguably the best fireworks show Disney has done.

And it made me very much long for a POE tag on Luminous for the holidays. It would be perfection.

I've heard they're planning to do a PoE tag eventually but at least last year, possibly even this year, they want to leave it as-is just since it's new

Just imagine the Luminous barges with the RoE score. The fountains and lights would definitely fill the parts most guests found boring.

If only there was a globe in the middle then it would've been the perfect upgrade.

Thats kinda what I wished would have happened.. keep the RoE score, and use new tech. They'd need to add fire though

Good Grief!!!!!! It wouldn't kill Epcot to do their Signature Tag an extra night!

Maybe there is no Pyro Sale! Also, with our luck, POE's return is probably just a pipe dream!

Luminous may be doing Good Things for EPCOT but Team EPCOT really needs to go back to ROE Tags thinking! Granted, Heartbeat Of Freedom only played with ROE on July 4th but it was nice to think about 2 Nights this year!

Watched Luminous on YT tonight. Improved Show is still there, and Guests seem to like it. Epcot should be careful if they want to remove Pyro now.......

Great video, crazy how the sun keeps setting later! I was thinking it’s a good thing the 4th fireworks should be right after Luminous, which will push the start time into the dark more!

I remember seeing Harm/Epcot at 9:30 during the summer... are they not doing that this year?

Park would close at 9 back then still, but are they just cutting costs this year?

It's really not bad in person. Cameras tend to overexpose the twilight sky.

I was there Wednesday. Seeing it at twilight where it basically got dark during the show was kinda cool. Though I've admittedly seen the show a few times before. Not sure if it's would be as good for a first viewing.

Well, sunset starts moving up again in a few days at least. They should really delay it 15 min in June and July, though. It’s dark by 9 in August.

It does stink that only deluxe resort guests or DAH ticket holders can see Epcot at night…
