Precisely, it's lovely to have it throughout the show.
I have to say, Eric Tucker is the reason this show succeeds.
Like I've been saying since the debut night, it's not perfect but it actually feels good to watch. It's busy but less busy since there aren't screens to divert attention. The pavilions interacting with the show unlike Harmonious (ok maybe they did, just not very well) is so nice, maybe even nicer then RoE in spots.

I guess it does play most of its cards but the one party trick at the end is so great in person. I was expecting something but when it happened, there was a collective "oh sh...oot". I think its safe to say Eric knew what the show needed and he probably deserves a lot of the credit. It also says they knew they needed to get it right on the first go too.

This is the best we'll get for now but maybe if enough people sing "Beating of our Hearts" as they exit the park, it'll convince them to go full original for the next version? The hardware is golden for this show so I'd be fine with using it for years to come, maybe with a few minor adjustments? It's so solid and such a wide show in person. I'd still like a globe back in the show regardless, heck a globe with the new party trick combo.

I'm very content and can finally stop telling people to watch Spaceship Earth from the entrance plaza and leave when the fireworks start. The park has something that feels like a true fireworks spectacular again.

Eric understands that there needs to be a pleasing rhythm to the shells bursting, which I feel is nearly constantly overlooked.

If you watch this show in person, the noise and vibration from the blasts weave into the soundtrack, accentuating the emotion of the music. If this harmony is overlooked, you just get pretty colors with music, as we've seen before.

Eric's careful timing blends every component of the show together in a deeply connected and emotional package, pushing the boundaries of stimulus overload without going over.

Just a heads-up to anyone planing to see the show. EPCOT is not making it easy to get a good viewing spot. World Showcase Plaza view is blocked off by the Joyful stage. Italy, Germany, and France have on most nights had private events blocking off all or part of those areas to day guests. Norway is full of stroller parking for Frozen.

There's also some very clever use of different shells / colors to simulate the duet, two different people, coming together.

Agree. And this is terrible.

The opening and closing of the show is proof that Disney could produce a wholly original show if they wanted to.

The IP medley that makes up the middle, feels like a concession to upper management and where the pacing and blending of the songs becomes choppy.

It would be interesting to see an alternative version where the movie songs were replaced with EPCOT specific music.
I truly don't mind the IP because it reminds me HEA in the sense that the IP that is included is thoughtful and serves an actual purpose in the development of the storyline.

I will say though with 100% original music this show would go from a A- to an A+

Unpopular idea I’m sure but what if for a special event perhaps they brought back Harmonious? But obviously just the soundtrack with the new infrastructure. I don’t see why they couldn’t. Yes it would need to be re programmed, but not impossible.
I don’t see why they put those barges to waste, they should use them for a fountain/ visual show somewhere else but power them up to move. Put them in the seven seas lagoon or Disney Springs. If they could drive and be self sufficient they have themselves a self contained stage set for any stand alone show without pyro.

Here is our multi-angle edit of 'Luminous The Symphony of Us.'

Shot from Canada, Norway, and Italy.

This is well done. Well enough I have now decided to just stay home and watch it at 9:30pm as opposed to actually going there. Although this negates my favorite part. Hanging out in world celebration at night.

I think this area is actually nicer than night time at Pandora but it's a cold night in Central Florida so a warm house and still a 9:30pm luminous is on the docket!!!! Thank you @wdwmagic .

Now the 4 uplights for Walt aren’t working? Add them to list of lighting issues I guess. And the bench is still missing its bottom framing, as noted a couple days ago.

Not a great look for the newly opened area.

Pic was taken at 10:50pm. I think they shut off after photo pass left but could not swear to it. Or maybe they decided it takes a better picture without them?
