I was referring more to Harmonious having a large amount of moving pieces. The moving arms and the sheer amount of fountains, lights and projection systems. It was a hugely complex show. Luminous is much more of a traditional firework show. A good thing IMO.

So Luminous won’t have as many fountains as Harmonious? I mean yes Harmonious had the ring and the fountains on the arms so that’s a difference there.

Luminous has 96 fountains if I counted correctly
12 per each main barge(6 total), One per each low profile barge(24 total)

Its weird because to me the fountains in Harmonious didn’t seem like a lot, but it could be the way they were used and the view point. With Luminous it may appear to be more because of the smaller barges, more of them and spread out where the Harmonious barges were close together.

I think there was so much going on with Harmonius, in a Vegas/NY Times Square way, that the amount of fountains got a little lost

The only places where I thought they looked any good was the opening and UK segments. The rest of the it was pure visual overload. More doesn't equal better.

Exactly. So maybe even though Luminous will have less fountains it will still look as impressive as Harmonious? We can hope lol.

I don’t recall if this has come up, but will Luminous have any fire (not fireworks, but actual flames)?

There doesn't seem to be any flame thrower equipment on the barges unless there is a center barge that will have them.
