These things are usually always black to disappear as well as possible during the actual show. And they also get very discolored from the lift charges, and black obviously hides that a lot better.

Well it is mostly going to be backstage, so it doesn't really matter what it looks like at this point.

I'm more interested in why it is blue, and nobody seems to know.

I don’t mind these barges, especially if it is true that they will bring them in and out each day. While they aren’t the most attractive, at least they don’t create a barrier like the screens on the tacos did.

The abundance of lights has me hoping they just ditch all the Disney music and set this to Pink Floyd and turn the lagoon into a rock concert every night.

Those fixtures from Harmonious weren't cheap. I would suspect as much tech as possible is being reused in the new show.
