Did you see the tests too? There was defiantly some extra show elements being used in that test that didn’t make it to the final product.

I remember there being filming embargoes for that test and thought that was odd for a returning show. Could've been early tests using EF equipment

We were utterly disappointed with the new Epcot fireworks. It was a poor poor replacement.

Harmonious was a great show, this one reminded of the cheap fireworks they do at a local park.

Whoever made this change needs to be fired.

EF has been in rough shape. So many gaps of no fireworks. You can tell they just don’t care at this point and EF is nearing its end. At least let’s hope this time.

I haven’t seen one person on this forum pretend EF is a great show. Most are just happy the barges are gone.

The question is then, why go from a show stopping fireworks spectacular to a dull, short, amateurish fireworks show akin to something you'd do from your back garden.

It's just yet again another black mark against Disney, another disappointment and for some another reason not to go.

Not that I want to defend them, but Harmonious was a BIG swing. Lots of money spent... it just so severely lacked creative direction and an understanding of the venue that the gigantic budget still wasn't enough to make it work.

An interim show was needed to bridge between I:ROE and Harmonious, and subsequently between Harmonious and New EPCOT Fireworks Show TM due to the major infrastructure changes necessary for both of the new shows. Epcot Forever is fine for what it is, and certainly better than just having no show for months on-end.
