WDW1971 said:First of all, I didn't bring up the subject. I clicked on this thread initially just to see an update about Epcot. Other people started it off. I just spoke up when someone made a comment that inferred that Christians waste money on "unimportant" things and don't help the needy. THAT is what made my comments relevant to the discussion. They weren't "totally unrelated" facts. They were facts to refute an earlier post.
Now about your comments about abortion clinics...I have never been for bombing clinics or killing doctors. It does nothing to further the argument that abortion is wrong. Killing to prove that killing is wrong is stupid. You're using extreme people to paint an entire group.
It's the same as saying all Muslims are bad because of a few radicals. It's wrong on both accounts.
First, advertising of that ilk doesn't need to be above WDW, no matter if you agree or disagree.TTATraveler said:I don't understand why people of any religion feel the need to try to convert people or advertise. Your religion is your religion and that is what it should be. You are free to choose whatever religion meets your needs.
People who try to push their religion onto others gain little respect in my book and that is all I am going to say about this topic.
I'm sorry, but that's the most asinine thing I've ever read. No one is "dying" from not being any set religion. What your [horrible] analogy should be instead is, If you saw someone who was thriving, healthy and happy with themselves and their life, but they drank diet coke and you were firmly opposed to diet coke, should you harrass, badger, insult, murder, war, and terrorize them for chosing to drink diet coke instead of water? The answer of course is no. It's none of your damned business. No one's dying. And no one needs someone else deciding what the right choice and the right way of living is on their behalf.socalkdg said:Now to answer your question on why people push their religion. If you saw a man about to die of thirst, would you give him water? Most people would answer yes. Now lets say you have such conviction in your belief that you believe your faith/religion is as important as water for that thirst, do you say something or not to others?

It is not too impressive....but as previously reported, it is a test for the future
The Margarita stand in Mexico has moved....while it used to be located on the end of the retail area, it is not on the opposite side of the walkway....it looks like it can handle higer volume, which is nice, as even on slow days, the line could be very long
Today began Holidays Around the World
Mickey's Tree Lighting Treat is currently scheduled for 6pm nightly, and is a nice little show
