Boy...lets hope nobody was trapped on Soarin' and was traumatized:lol:
 Bring in the grief counselors!

Some woman was trapped for half an hour on Spaceship Earth and was demanding that they keep the attractions that were down in the morning open an extra hour and a half to accommodate her family, because this was their only day at Epcot. (I kid you not.) Generally, I would suggest that such "constructive suggestions" be shared with guest services and not the CM in front of the tip board. I was far too fascinated by the CM's various excuses about why the tip board said that the disabled attractions had wait times still posted for them to share that suggestion with the complaining woman, though...

I had just finished going through the preshow at Mission: Space and watched that movie about a million times a few months ago when CM's started running everywhere. They gave us Fastpasses and told us to come back later, when we got out that entire side of the park was down. This seems to happen a lot.

Actually the problem is that the Laugh Floor Comedy Club isn't so much an attraction as a power source. Unfortunately, audience reaction has been poor, so... this is what we get.

WHERE'S ELLEN AND BILL WHEN YOU NEED THEM?!?!? :veryconfu

Listen and you'll hear the heart beat,
of a greeter being berated of course.
See all the forms and faces,
of tourists using extreme force.

And feel all the wonderful a-n-ger,
flowing through guests far and near.
When your vehicle will return to earth,
is starting to become unclear.

S-i-n-e-s-e, where are all of your whooshes,
let this be one of your ruses.
I've been stuck in hyper sleep for ages.

E-n-e-r-g-y, there is no Ellen without you,
we must keep emergency stopping you.
Now is the time to evac a few queues.

E-p-c-o-t, you are blacked-out
Now is the time to bailout and out
Everybody walking out.
Everybody worn-out.
Everything is out.

Even with that sheer volume, Lighs don't pull an overly large amount of power. Not as much as you would think anyhow. Stage lights do pull some power, but not enough to bring down the resort.

Obviously you have never seen National Lampoons Christmas Vacation - Chevy Chase brought down and entire city with those little lights.

Now come on, we all know that the main reason why Epcot expierenced power issues was due to the secret testing of the Cinderella Castle Weapons System in the Magic Kingdom, it pulled all the power from Epcot to prepare for Disney's First Strike against the world, lol.

I sadly was one of the cast members at TipBoard today. I got everything from "Thanks A lot" to "whatever" to "are you going to give me back my money?"

I was over at innoventions west when this happened. The lights flickered and all of innoventions west went down. When a power outage happens, we need to direct guest out of the building. I was asked "Why?" and I just told them we're experiencing some issues and to please come back later.

I was then bumped off to Tip Board for a good 2 hours!! And that's when the magic began :lookaroun

Like if it was my fault, they started yelling at me and fellow cast members. We just directed them to guest relations and we reassured them that they were working on the problem. =/ What a day jeesh!!

no one was stuck on spaceship earth for more than 8 min. we got the ride reset and running again and contuned loading for about 6 more min. untill we noticed the worklights would not cutt off and then we stopped loading . for about 45 mins until the lights went back out and we reopened. so the lady is lying.

Actually... those little lights you are referring to.... really weren't so little. They looked like the size of regular 100 watt bulbs...

Nevertheless... I'm chuckling just thinking about that movie right now... how the power company had to throw the emergency nuclear backup power switch to keep the rest of the city's lights on... the neighbors spilling wine on their once white carpet and tripping over themselves and down the stairs from having the equivalent of the sun next door....

Ahhh... good times!
