Epcot pics today Aug 9th

So.. for starters.. SSE:

Not much appears to have changed overnight...

But beggars can't be choosers.

But we can be happy the SOMETHING is happening at Wonders!

And it's a little hard to see, but they put big rocks in the planter in the ramp and also put new trees into it.

Randomly around the park, we got walls.

Imagination, around the Figment Fountain.

Bridge to WS kids water area:

All around the rose garden walkway...

Signage for that one too.

And over inside Innoventions a new area has closed..Right next door to Opportunity City (already closed) and across the way from Fantastic Plastic Works (soon to close).

Wjhatever goes in is gonna be big. And now for China, which is just a smidge closer to finished.

Over in Canada...

And then I found this weird duck-like critter, anyone know what it is?

The homeless puffballs had gone to the pub in the UK to drink their little cares away.

And nearby, the Millenium Village/World Showplace got a new fascade..

But that is a crappy angle... and so is this..

So i finally just stuck my camera in the crack in the door - voila!

We're in the final stretch!

Here's a broken water feature..

And here's a different kind of sign..

And here's its mate.

Then there's the work at the Contemporary.

And even more work to be seen.. (they're paving a parking lot with blacktop)

Inside, things have been painted and some areas redone... like the bag/valet area.

The front desk finally got new costumes, these are the salmon, but others wear the light blue shirts/ties.

My goodness... this has to be the longest paint job Disney has ever done. I mean you'd think that the same company that builds houses in 7 days could repaint this in less than a month.
