Looks like an improper mold casting as if who ever did it stopped the process before it could finish properly. Then they just put a figment and rainbow in so people would not just look at this deformed plastic mess as if it were an eyesore.

I am for some reason a little undwhelmed by the menus this year. They are just missing something. I normally really enjoy this Festival's offerings. (And I'm no stranger to higher end food and the like.). I just didn't find myself gravitating to many of the choices. But, hopefully I'll be wrong and/or it's just personal taste when the real dishes are served.

As for the bucket, I'm torn. I love, love the idea of this. But, I do agree the final probably could have been better served by one or two more design iterations. I especially think Figment should have been on the exterior vs. inside. Like, Figment looking in and seeing things like a paint brush, rainbow, etc. - calling back to the ImageWorks.

New look Figment popcorn bucket to debut at the 2024 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts

i think i really like this bucket! i'll wait to fully judge until i've seen it in person. i do think it looks a little bulky/uncomfortable to carry around, but it'll look great as a display piece.

My initial impression was also underwhelmed for the food. The food offering seemed sparse and focused on beef and desserts.

I am excited about the multiple porters and stouts though.

Disney is putting a lot of emphasis into Figment and the pavilion...I HOPE this is a sign that they will be refurbing the building back to what it use to be!

I think it is more of a case that nostalgia sells.
aka why they avoid investing in the parks

they know people are gonna show up for a popcorn bucket

long-term it's a horrible strategy as universal builds up nostalgia with potter/nintendo/hhn fans, short-term it's profitable so wall street likes it
